Which do you like the best?
White Mage because a) you get a cool costume and b) healing people is nice.
Why is the Blue Mage and Dragoon combined into one class?
Dragoons needed a buff. :D
I'm torn on my pick -- Ninja is (generally) my favorite class in the series, but I'd rather be a Paladin than anything else. :(
Why not call shooter ranger?
white mage with a side dish of time magic for me
I'd like to be a Red Mage, but I would probably be a Monk.
I went with Summoner. I was tempted to go Paladin/White Mage/Synergist, but I thought the possibility of summoning creatures that could do those roles for me would be more useful. Plus, I could summon cute Carbuncle and just keep it round the house.
Summoner because having an army of monsters to command and unleash upon my enemies would be ideal.
Summoner with a horn, or without? That is the true question.
Ever since FFX I've always thought of Dragoons to be Blue Mages. My bad I misjudged the class. They should be separate but for FFX sake we will keep it as it is.
Cause the ranger shoots or uses axes. I used Shooter cause Guns a Bows are popular with Square.
Sorry for the small mistakes :(
And so FFX ruins everything again... :(
The best blue mages are sabre-wielders, just so you know, for future reference.

Anyhoo, I'm a paladin. I'm big and tanky, and I'm religious, and I like to help people, so it fits :D
Kimahri smurfing wishes he was a Dragoon.
He's also a crummy blue mage.
But at least he's fluffy and loveable :3:

I think dragoons are cool. They jump. They have cool armour. Some of the best characters are dragoons. Freya kain (not kimahri >:( ). And of course, they ride wyverns. And fly. Dragoon master race.
I chose Pally :3 Seems like a class everyone would want on their team, tanky, good damage, can heal, moral heroes who stand for justice and whatnot. And so flashy and pretty :jess: Everyone needs goodguy Pally around, yup.
The Time Wizard

But Synergist is close enough.
and let us not forget those noble classes that exceeded the 20 option limit.
Alchemist
Bard/Dancer
Gambler
Geomancer
Hunter
Mime
Scholar
Viking
Sage
Time Mage
Trainer
and many more....
depends on the game, really. In many of them, rangers primarly use ranged weapons, either bows or guns. It overlaps a lot with the archer class in many cases, so games usually only have one or the other. They can use axes, sure, but if you're gonna use axes, there are many other jobs better suited for that. After all, black mages can use knives too.
Shooter, however, isn't a class I have seen in any FF game.
And where's the logic in leaving time mage and dancer out, while wasting slots on FF13 classes? :p
Maybe he meant the Fusilier?
Shooter was there just to cover all long ranged fighters with guns and bow n arrows. There was so many types with no key that suited them better so I called them shooter.
As for time mage I kind of feel like I should have not used Berserker and Beastmaster for. Final Fantasy XIII classes are there as buffers (protect, Haste) and de-buffers (Poison, Slow)
Wait, if I change my pick to viking, do I get to live in that cave from FF3 with the cannon?
