Out of all the playable characters from Final Fantasy VII and yes Crisis Core, who do you like the best? I left out characters from Before Crisis and Advent Children. I never played Before Crisis and you can't play advent children.

I really liked Yuffie cause of her bad-chick attitude, but ultimately Tifa was my favourite for her moves aswell.

Since my most recent playthrough Yuffie has jumped from about 10 to 3, she is hilarious.
I think Cid will always be my number 1, with Aeris as a close second.

Zack has always been my favorite, but to be fair he has an entire game devoted to him. Of the original cast, Tifa was always my favorite.
Aerith, who died saving the planet and was a badass in battle (anyone who says otherwise is cray cray) and should be loved by all *looks at BoB*

How is Tifa a wallflower?

Generally I've heard the term used to refer to extremely shy women. Or maybe I was thinking of shrinking violet.
In any event, Tifa is the very typical "cannot spit it out" type. She loves Cloud as is abundantly obvious but damned if she ever had the courage to come out and say it. She's very meek and passive in all things Cloud.
Which is funny because Cloud was the same way when they were little.
Okay, I understand now.
I confused that with the "sexy lamp" trope :p
Cid was my favourite when I originally played the game as I found him hilarious. As I've gotten older, his relationship with Shera doesn't sit well with me at all. Nanaki would get the nod for me now as a favourite character. I know there are others with more development but I loved his back story with Hojo and Cosmo Canyon. Plus I love using him in battle.

Cid by far. I love how he was forced to give up his dream, in order to do the right thing. Great plot thread. His nasty comments, and potty mouth that rivals Barrett add to him as well. The best thing about him is how he doesn't give a crap about political correctness. Making fun of "fat man Palmer", and constantly degrading Shera. A very flawed and extremely entertaining character. Now sit down and drink your GODDAMN tea!
Next I'd go with Barrett and Aeris(FFVII version only, I hate "mother" Aerith).
Fine, I'll vote Aerith since she's hardly getting any love.

Cloud has always been an awesome FF protagonist.
Tifa's very much the heart of the story for me.
Look forward to seeing how they remake her. I guarantee they had a conference at Squenix one day where the entire topic of discussion was just "So what we doing with the boobs?"
