Wow! Someone who's more old school than me. Im still on the fence about whether i should play FF1, the earliest original (when i say original i really mean slightly tweaked ps1 remake) i have played is IV.
Yuna's outfit is probably my favorite of all the FF characters.

Tough choice. I'm going to have to disagree with Jar Jar with Fran; I mean, it's an interesting outfit, but you can hardly wear that in combat. It's definitely not practical. :p
I'm genuinely surprised Balthier has not been mentioned yet, as he basically epitomises 'fashion' in that game. If we're going old school, I've always thought the Red Mage was pretty swish as well, and I liked Lulu's 'how many belts can we fit on one dress?' ensemble.

No love for Rinoa? I adore her design in general and that obviously included her garb.

Ugh so many of the FFV job classes, but I won't count job classes because there's some great ones in X-2 and the Tactics games and stuff, so as far as default outfit...
