KINGDOM HEARTS series! :D
Mass Effect without a doubt.
I define Action RPG as a Diablo-like. So honestly probably Diablo 3 at the moment.
If you're going for any RPG with action elements, then Morrowind. Deus Ex is a close second.
Aye. Mass effect 2 for me.
Aria of Sorrow :3
Nier Gestalt.

I'm actually really interested in trying out Diablo-like action RPG games. It's a genre I've mostly had no experience with.
In terms of what everyone else will probably talk about in this thread, I'm going to go with Kingdom Hearts 1. That game (and the series as a whole honestly) just has always held a special place for me. It, Xenosaga 1, and FFVIII all are comfort games for me and I used to play this one almost yearly after it came out for a while.
Probably Mass Effect, Kingdom Hearts, etc. The usual suspects. :p
Fallout: New Vegas, Xenoblade.
Titan Quest, Grim Dawn, Diablo 2, and Torchlight.
Amusing how many different play styles can be argued for this. And the Diablo clones have a bunch of other valid lables as well. Hack'n'slash, click-fest, loot-fest. And nobody said Zelda, the most controversial argument for this genre
New Vegas, Mana series, Torchlight, Kingdom Hearts, and Dark Cloud. I don't consider the Tales series or the Elder Scrolls games up to Morrowind action-RPG's.
I concur with Dark Souls.
Dark Cloud 2!
SO3, bad VA and all
My favourite Action RPG series are Mass Effect, Dragon Age and Fable (despite all its problems, I find it charming).
I refuse to acknowledge games where you don't have to aim your attacks in any way because the system handles it for you as "Action RPGs" just because they aren't strictly turn-based.
So Borderlands, then? :P
Borderlands is "action," Dragon Age is not.
Kingdom Hearts series :p
Secret of Mana.
Mass Effect 2.
This is going to sound really silly and stuff but because there is a transition between battle and field as well as the amount of dialogue.
You're right, it did sound silly :p. What about Zestiria then, where there is no battle transition but everything else is the same?
Yeah, that's hardly an argument. By that logic, Raidou Kuzunoha wouldn't be an action-RPG either. Not that it had good battles, but it was an action-RPG however you looked at it.
Also, Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories? That had transitions.
Tie between Kingdom Hearts II and Dragon's Crown.
If its considered one -Zelda- and Legend of Mana.
