Hi everyone, a quick question. Do any of you like caviar?? Yes, no maybe so and why? I personally loathe caviar and hope I will never go near it, smell it or I will puke out all of my internal organs. :barf::barf:

I thought this thread would be about these things

As for caviar it's fun in small doses though Im not entirely sure I've had real caviar. I've had non-caviar fish eggs though and I found the unoffensive to taste though a little cumbersome to handle as I got some spillage but didn't want to lick the overflowed eggs off the plate like a savage and the eggs were too fiddly to pick up one by one
I like some roe on certain things, but the way caviar is served and salted makes the roe definitely suited only as a spread to my tastes.
Roe in certain dishes? Sure. Caviar? Only in small amounts on bread or something.
Never actually tried it. Not sure if I ever will! I'm not fancy enough.
It's just salt and fish. If you've had that, you've had roe. It's like a fish sauce substitute.
The textures is the main thing. They "pop" when you chew them. Then it's just liquid, and savory fish flavor.
Gross. Whenever I see them it reminds me of this scene.
I do enjoy caviar on gunkan maki sushi.
Anything that *pops* in my mouth is questionable, to be honest.
I put caviar on everything. Even put it on ice cream once. It was surprisingly successful.
I've had non-caviar caviar. It's all right. Wouldn't pay a premium for it.
If by caviar you mean chicken kiev then I've had caviar loads of times!
It tastes like chicken kiev.
They're fine on sushi. I don't know why anyone would eat them plain.
I've only had it at the wedding of Loony BoB. I think we had it in actual eggs? Someone confirm that. I couldn't tell what was bird egg and what was fish egg but it wasn't bad.
