Mate, you know damn well that nobody saved Kaidan.
Well, if I was a Commander John Shepard and I was in a romance with Liara T'Soni, I'd definitely leave Ashley Williams behind, because she ain't my girlfriend, God damn it! :mad2:
I suppose to be honest I don't remember much about Ashley either, other than she was a Republican
Always Ashley. That's not to say I particularly like her, but my choice is more about killing that moron Kaidan than saving her.
Kaidan kicked it, yo.
Kaiden, I never really cared for him. I didn't exactly hate him, except as a party member since his class was useless. Ashley was my love interest in ME1 since she was more interesting than Liara.
You guys are jerks. Kaidan is the best, waaaay better than ashley.
Leave ashley. She's lame.
Kaidan was a tool.
I actually do pretty much a 50/50 split on who I leave. I like both of them.
I've only done one run-through ME, and the first time was Ashley, but only because her name was first in the alphabet, and I was doing a biotic classes sweep, so Kaiden was less useful.
In my next run doing Soldier, Infiltrator and Engineer, I'll pick Kaiden. I also plan to romance him in ME: 3, too. A shame you can't do anything in Mass Effect, but that's society for you.
I started with ME2 and the default was to save Ashley, so when I finally went back to ME1 to play my 'prologue' I had to save her to be consistent. Probably would have done that anyway.
I saved Kaiden exactly once just to say I've done it. The rest of the time he doesn't make it no matter who I'm romancing. I always play femshep.
I saved Ashley and have regretted it ever since.
She's screwed on my next playthrough though, and I don't mean in the good way.
