Idk why, but I kinda see him as a Panic! At the Disco person.

We all know his favorite bands are The Cure, Depeche Mode, and Joy Division.
I don't think Squall listens to any music.
Grunge. Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots.
He's more of the lone wolf type of guy and not so much on the emo side from what I got. It's hard to say what kind of music that he listened too.Quote:

I can't see past folk.
Folk, lol. Yeah that's one genre he could do. He could be a bit multi or subgenre so Folk, Metal, Indie, Alternative, Any kind of Emo Music (the only band I know from that genre is My Chemical Romance). There's also the argument that at times Squall is too cool for school so...the whole Bob Dylan thing could suit him (which brings us back to folk, electric folk incorporated that is)

Never got the impression that Squall was the musicy kind of guy. Zell, on the other hand, I expect listens to rap metal. If anyone listens to emo stuff, it's seifer. i would think selphie listens to mainstream pop usually with female singers, and irvine probably listens to 70s rock, maybe prog rock. Quistis, i dunno really, but perhaps symphonic metal She's definitely not listening to pop, or any mainstream sort of band/artist? Rinoa probably likes power ballads or slow romantic pop songs.
Perhaps something relaxing to take his mind off the crap he has to deal with people. I'm just not sure which genre would be more fitting in that regard. Maybe something instrumental.

Sure, why not? Maybe he headbangs, on the wall for having to deal with Zell all day.
I guess it's Epic Music, like Two Steps From Hell. Squall is always into battle without hesitance. He also doesn't like to use words to express feelings so it's likely that he listens to strong,non-lyric, battle music.
Certainly not country or R&B. He seems more like a Nine Inch Nails guy.
