Just once, but lately I've really wanted to play through it again.
3 times. never beat the 2 superbosses or got gold chocobo. idk FF IX is the only one ive been compelled to 100%

Pretty sure just once. And even that was like two years ago!
3 or 4 times I think. I never beat Ruby weapon but I've done most everything else.
Once for me, too. The only Final Fantasy game I've completed twice is FFXIII. Like you I do want to play through it again at some point, and I've purchased the PS4 version of it ready for when I do decide to play through. However I think I'm going to wait until the Remake gets a release date before I start playing it.Quote:

Probably 2-4 times. It's rare that I play FFVII with the intention of finishing. I more have the intention of mastering as many material as possible until I get bored and stop playing. :p
3 times, I think. It is such a huge task, but now I intend to play it on my phone, so I can rape the game with my level 100 characters from the get-go.
Not a smurfing clue. Whenever I'm not playing this game... I wish that I was.
This game is probably the reason I haven't finished a load of other games.

About five. I don't think I could manage to get through it anymore as much as I love and respect this game. I can sate any urge to play old games by watching let's plays instead.
i've beaten it only once but have played through to the Northern Crater many times... i have this problem where when i get just before the final boss at the end, that i don't want the game to end... so, i just restart it, because of this it took me 5 years to beat FF VII after it came out...
Two times, and I will play it again.
Played it twice I believe, but I've only beaten it once. My first time I didn't beat it because I did something dumb and spawned a save point during a cutscene.
Um... I can only guess that it's been many times. Including at least one subsequent playthrough dedicated to getting each different Gold Saucer date, as well as a speedrun.
It's been a few years now, so maybe it's time to dive back in again.
