Anime is seriously restoring hype levels for FFXV. IF the game can match the characterisation achieved in the anime so far I'll be hugely impressed

Yeah, these anime episodes were better than I was expecting. I had no clue Gladiolus was so much older than Noctis. He was an adult while Noctis was still a child.
It is weird since their official age gap is 3 years. Noctis is 20 and Gladiolus is 23 in-game.
So either Noct was a scrawny brat and Gladio is a bulky mofo. I would assume in the episode Noct was like 15-ish which would put Gladio at 18 so it would make sense?
Gladio looks at least 27.
Its free (ish) youtube fun for me, and its the one and only way I can keep up with SE right now.
And the third episode is out? great stuff...I thought episode 2 was inspired
Idk, Gladio looks like a teen to me. Like high school or so. So he could be like 16, making Noct 13 - that would explain the noticeable difference at that age.
This is the best episode so far. Loving the relationship between Gladio and Noct. Also Iris is so cute, but I've got a feeling that her grown up game self is going to be a corrupted mega bitch from hell who Gladio, Noct & co will have to take down. Just a feeling.

I reckon it's more likely that Iris will be the love interest. Hopefully that means we may have a bloody female playable character!
Watched all three of these last night. The last two were particularly impressive :)

Based on this and the last episode....I love Noctis :-)

OK, it doesn't seem that likely in a Japanese game. But what we've seen of their interactions makes it look at least possible.
Anyway, my wife and I are really enjoying the 'Brotherhood' shorts so far. It's neat getting these snippets of insight into the gang's backstory and their connections to one another. I'm especially liking Ignis, and hoping we'll learn more about him in the remaining episodes. He feels like the mature 'straight man' who has to keep the others restrained and focused, along the lines of someone like Hatori from 'Fruits Basket'.
