Podunk USA 1965 an Experiment is about to take place.

The experiment has gone wrong however and now the people involved are gone. However 30 years latter fate of a young man named Nutty and his Dog Oscar may reopen and explore what may have happend.

When Oscar decides to chase a cat when Nutty leaves the movies they end up in the same home as the experiment 30 years earlier.

Oscar chews on a few cords then Zap.. Nutty and Oscar find themselves in a futuristic space station with some weird guy who doesn't make them feel at home.

The man asks you to follow him and escorts you to a area and locks the door behind him. Before you know it you are stuck fighting for your life against two robots. Its a good thing there is a bazooka ready to be used beside you.

With Victory complete you find a way out in an escape pod and drop to the world below you. Upon landing however the escape pod and the bazooka end up as trash

No Worries though as you find your pal Oscar there safe, and he has changed into a giant Wolf looking creature. He also brings you a giant bone that can be used as a weapon against what you may run into out there.

Welcome back readers. When we last left off we were dropped off in the jungle and our dog turned into a wolf. We also found a bone that we could defend ourselves with. Now lets continue on with the story.

As we explore our main enemy are plants that eat people. Oscar and the bone though are more than a match for them. We also get attacked by little bugs that only have 1HP, but are tough to hit. It is easy to navigate though as we fight the two enemies off with ease

Oscar has more uses as well then just fighting. He uses his nose to find little things around the place, and hidden treasure chests as well. (Very nice touch from SE if you ask me.)

As we explore the strange leaf in the middle we get attacked by Raptors!

Though this fight isn't needed to win, (as I lost it this time darnit) It doesn't matter. Our trusty dog Oscar will intervene and drag us out to safety.

Welcome again to Nutty plays Secret of Evermore. I know I am spamming them in, but I am trying to make posts small for easy reading and more pictures for everyone.

When we left Nutty and Oscar a Raptor kicked our behind and Oscar dragged us away. We wake up in a little hut with a man talking to us telling us we are in the Prehistoric Village and urges us to explore and take things we need from the huts.

As we explore and talk to the locals they tell us to meet the Village Leader. They call her Fire Eyes.

With that I guess it it time to meet Fire Eyes.

We have a small meeting with her in her hut, and when we talk about Podunk USA she attempts to play it cool, however she does know about it, and agree's to help you get back if... you do a small favor for her. The Village Alchemist has left to find ingredients for his potions in the Bug Muck and hasn't returned. She asks that you and your dog go seek him out as the village is starting to worry. She also gives you your first alchemy spell called Flash to help you in the muck just in case of trouble. She also gives us a small explanation on how to use it.

Well join us next time as we leave the village and travel through the desert to the Bug Muck in search of the village alchemist.

We are back again. When we last left we made a deal with Fire Eyes to help find the Village Alchemist Stone Heart. We were given the hint that he left to the East through the desert and into the Bug Muck. So... lets head east.

We walk out into a jungle that turns into sand and run into enemies such as our old friends the people eating plants and a new enemy these turtle looking things that attack. They come in groves and even Mario would be thinking twice about going through them. How ever Nutty and Oscar make their way taking the time to do a little grinding on these beasts as well.

Further east from there is the desert. Sand pools suck you in and shoot you around if you are not to careful here. However its not a big deal as sometimes they just set you back a little ways and you reappear with hilarious results.

One also takes you to a small cave. Inside the cave you find an old man who is attempting to run a business, but his location is terrible. To boost sales he decides to give a free gift of the Jaguar Tooth Ring with any purchase. It allows the user to use the energy they would have used in attacking, and use a sprint instead. It allows you to run out of the suction of those pesky sand pools, so Nutty buys a Pedal (Used for healing) and with it gets the Jaguar Tooth Ring.

After the sale Nutty and Oscar Head South from there and end up in the Bug Muck. Which we will explore next time.

We now are in the Bugmuck. As Nutty and Oscar make their way in the ground changes from sand to swamp, and we battle two new bad guys. Tar Skulls that look like a skull on a spine, and Maggots that look like white worms. Bugs also bug you every place you walk here.

Nutty then finds a cave and Enters it.

Inside the cave there is an Alchemist. after a short conversation we find out he isn't Strong Heart who we are looking for, but he stopped by a couple days ago and was heading to the big bug in the center to look for ingredients. He also teaches us the Hard ball formula as a new alchemy spell for us.

This guy sells alchemy ingredients too so Nutty Stocks up his supply and heads out of the cave and battles his way to the Big Bug.

Welcome back as we are now in The Big Bug. The enemies are the same ones that were in the Bugmuck. Tar Skull's Maggots, and those little bugs with 1HP that you can never hit.

The first part of this place is a bit of a maze. As you clime through the Big Bug pieces of the floor drop out from under you and you must ride an express back to the start. Its not a big deal however as there is a sure way through, and Alchemy ingredients are everywhere for Oscar to help you find. Plus the ride down is comical.

After you get through there you must crawl outside and back in through the Big Bugs Legs. It isn't very tough to find your way in this spot.

Once through You find a giant Bug named Thorax. Brace yourself for this is the first real boss fight of the game. Thorax throws Maggots at you to fight while attacking you with his claws and the Acid Rain Alchemy spell. He has a set of ribs that protect his heart which is his only weakness. at first I attacked him from a distance with the Hardball Alchemy spell and let Oscar deal with the Maggots. Once he opened up his ribs, I ran up to his heart, Charged my Bone to level 3 and attacked. He Dropped quickly after that.

Our reward for beating him was the Spider Claw. An ax type weapon that is a step up from the bone, and has use outside of battle too.

We also have found Strong Heart in a cocoon and the Spider Claw was able to cut him free.

When Finished Stong Heart takes off on his own to the Village and we see a nice exit right behind him. Well with him back Fire Eyes will help us get home right? Thats how most RPG's work I am sure. So lets head back to the Village and do some exploring around the way as the Spider Claw can now open up places we before couldn't access...Next time.

Welcome back. We make our way out, and this new path leads us around the sand pools on the edge near the top. We fight nothing new here, some turtles and bugs. We also find this guy living out here. He is an Alchemist Who teaches us the Acid Rain formula.

We also get to explore South of the Village where the Escape Pod broke down and we landed in this Prehistoric place. Using the Spider Claw to cut through the Tall Weeds we are able to find another new area Which is Strong Hearts Hut. Here he teaches us the Cure Formula. Much more handy that only being able to carry 6 pedals for healing!

We now have made it back to the Village and had a long talk with Fire Eyes. She explains this world to us and tells us that the village has a new crisis. Since it is mostly all plot I screenshotted the conversation so I can post it for you guys. and I will leave this entry as just the meeting with Fire Eyes.

She Gives us 6 call beads to call on her at any time in battle that will bring her in to cast a summon type spell on the enemy. Call beads are one of those rare type items in the game where you never use it until you are up the creek and under leveled and need a quick hand. Better left saved for latter. Next time we will explore the Volcano and why this world is cooling off.

So we just left Fire Eyes and left the village to the North's exit what we can get through for the first time with the claw. In here we are back in a jungle setting with a new enemy. They are flowers that attack like the other ones, but they suck you up and slowly drain HP while trapping you. They are kind of mean to be honest.

We continue North until we see a cave with a huge Rock blocking it. Wonder if there is a way around?

To the West is another cave that is open with a man who sells better armor for Nutty. We buy new duds and then head back to the cave with the Rock in front of it, and proceed north again to a Mammoth Graveyard.

In here we get a new type of enemy that can use poison. They are Widowmaker spiders. good thing Strong Heart taught us that cure Alchemy formula!
As we proceed through we run into the Enemy of Fire Eyes and her Village the Vipers. The main commander sends 4 of them against Nutty and Oscar which we fight, then the Commander himself attacks. He wasn't tough as I had Nutty toss Hardball at him, while Oscar Tanked and he went down fairly quickly. After We receive the Horn Spear as our reward for beating him.

After that we meet another Alchemist that says we must continue North still as someone at the top of the Volcano sould be able to help us gain access. I took a screenshot of the conversation so I won't miss any plot points with everyone reading this.

With that we head through the Mammoth head gate and North... Next time.

the battles look cool, remind me of CT.

The battle system is setup like Zelda and Secret of Mana where it's all on the map but you can move and they come at you. It's basically what Secret of Mana should have been but failed.

We are back again with More Secret Of Evermore. When we last left off we walked into the Mammoths mouth north.

What we walk into is back to the jungle setting were we have lots of company in the form of those plants that eat you, Widowmaker Spiders, and added to the list now Raptors. We head north and battle our way to a mini puzzle where you jump on steam geysers, and enter through caves to find your way through.
When you step on the right geyser it takes you to the top of the Volcano.

The Old Alchemy man at the top knows a possible way into the Volcano, but There is a rock blocking that path. Good thing he is around to teach us the Levitate Alchemy Formula. Only problem is is that it takes a mud pepper and he doesn't have any. He does know where to find them though. There is a swamp to the east where they grow. So Nutty and Oscar thank him and start the trek east... next time

So we head East and make our way to the swamp. Here we are faced with the enemies of the people eating plants, Widowmaker Spiders, and a new enemy called a Frippo. They look like mini Hippo"s but are annoying to hit. The Swamp itself is a easy enough puzzle. as you kill the enemies lilly pads appear that allow you to different sections of the swamp. Nutty and Oscar work their way through and run into a giant Snake at the end.

As we walk around the Snake we get shouted at bye a man who surprise surprise need our help with this Snake. Nutty and Oscar Pest Patrol to the rescue.

Despite the guy saying give me a hand, he took off and never entered the fight with the Snake. With this fight a little bit of preparation goes a long way. I leveled the spear up to Level 3 so Nutty would have a power toss with it, and when the Snake Shot Will O' Whisps I let Oscar deal with them while I tossed my spear at the head of the snake. It went down in a few rounds.

I'm torn about what to do!

I've always wanted to play this (same thing with Chrono Trigger) but never got round to it. Do I read Nutty's LP or wait until I experience it myself?

Well if you don't get to it, I am trying to keep conversations in so not to miss any plot points, but it is a great game for a player to explore too.

With a Mud pepper in hand it is time to enter the base of the Volcano and see why this world is cooling off. We use the Levitate formula and enter.

Inside we see enemies in the shape of Vipers out to hurt you. No worries though as Oscar is well able to give them the hurt, and Nutty is able to toss his spear leveled up and stay at a safe distance.
Also inside we get to a few simple puzzles where Rocks block your path forward. You find mudpepper's and use Levitate Formula to continue ahead.

We also find a guy hiding from the Vipers inside. He gives us a chance to save our game and teaches us the Speed Formula, how nice.

We get to a point where we can't find another Mudpepper but we do find a Viper Commander. It is a mini boss fight here. A spear chuck and Oscar's attack take him down quick and The Viper Commander drops a Mudpepper for us. You can leave the screen and come back to fight him again which will drop a second one as well. I did this about 7 times to stock up on the Mudpeppers as they are rare in the game.

With the last rock blocking our path removed we continue on to the next part of the dungeon. It is a water system inside the Volcano. They have two path that branch out to different area's. Most lead to nothing and make you try another path from the start, some lead to a fight with Raptors, but one leads to a switch, the other leads to a locked door that opens when you hit the switch.

Well... Lets fight her pet Rock I guess.

The Pet Rock isn't that tough. Had Oscar and Nutty attack with Power shots when he stood up to shoot his flames at us. The annoying part of this battle was after we would hit him He would jump into the Lava and get HP back. He then would jump out and roll around to try to hit you. In the end Nutty and Oscar are victorious though and have a chat with evil Fire Eyes.

With that We get shot out the top of the Volcano and end up in a shell floating down a river. When we get control again we find ourselves on a beach near an old wrecked ship without Oscar. Guess we should look for our pup.

We start to look around this place and see what there is. The people here are tough Rouge's, and people in Toga's. Two totally different cultures. As we talk to people we find out there is a town across the great dessert called Nobilia, and this is the Rouge town. We also find our friend from the swamp who got cought up in the blast as well.

We Now get the camera moving to Oscar who now looks different yet again. He now has a look of a Pointer looking dog, and he is in a different city that resembles Rome.

Thats right, they think Oscar may be the sacred dog of legend. This can't spell good news for Nutty.

As the scene ends we come back to Nutty and Blimp. Blimp builds a bridge across the gap to the Great desert, and teaches Nutty the most powerful attack Alchemy Formula in the game Crush.

Well now that we know where we need to go, let explore this are a bit. Outside of the town the Rouges attack you in the never ending want for treasure and money. They hit hard and have extremely high defense but a few powerful spear throws do them in. You also get attacked by Mad Monks that are easy enough to defeat, but if they hit you it throws the directions on the controller to a random state.

We also find the currency for the area is Jewels. We had Talons in the Prehistoric Village as currency and no one here will sll you things for Talons. Lucky for us we find a guy who will exchange your Talons for Jewels at a rate that looks like you converted Canadian Dollars to the British Pound at a Payday Loan place.

We also find a Mad Monk in town who offers to sell us a Amulet of Annihilation for 10,000 Jewels. After being robbed in the currency exchange and then wasting most of that on Alchemy ingredients we fall short of the cash needed so Nutty declines.

Nutty then tests out crush on some Rouges and Mad Monks outside the city.

After grinding Crush up to Level 4 Nutty gets ready to go across the desert. A skeleton offers to take us across but he has a price. He wants a Amulet of Annihilation as a price... We can get one for 10,000 Jewels but yikes We will have Nutty walk.

The Desert is a massive map that is mostly just sand. You take 5HP of damage every 15 seconds or so, plus Sand Spiders and Tumbleweeds attack you as you go. No worries though as there are Oasis's scattered throughout that restore you HP and give you shelter from attacks

Welcome back folks. We return to Nutty looking for Oscar in Nobilia. When we arrive we enter the market where it truly is a old style market where you can buy and sell and trade items to try and up what you have. I started doing some trading but the market closed to continue the story so I will skip past until the market reopens and show all of Nutty's trades then. Lets continue with the story shall we. Story wise we just found out Oscar looks like the sacred dog of legend and the Leader wishes to use him to advance his position.

When the market closes a meeting takes place where they announce that their Gladiator Champion is going to take on a challenger chosen by the sacred dog. Nutty being at this meeting right away has Oscar walk up to him to reunite the two, and giving you top spot in the arena to take on a gladiator. aren't you glad your dog came with you on this adventure now?

Well we have no choice but to fight it seems. We are given a little information from the Leaders adviser on what is to happen and to come out fighting. Nutty while looking around was able to find a nice upgrade on all his armor too in the room. Well I guess its time to fight.

So the gate opens and it is time to take on the beast known as Vigor! Nutty tells Oscar to stay put and the the arena fills up. Notable in attendance are Locke, Relm, Mog, Umaro, and Strago from FFVI fame. They all laughed at Nutty when he spent all his Jewels on Limestone and wax, but when mixed together in this world it creates a giant fist that falls from the sky and "Crushes" the target.

This fight without Alchemy is brutal. Vigor can't be attacked from the front, only from behind. He keeps that shield up and hunts you you down so he is tough to avoid. I used crush to stun/hurt him, while he was stunned I attacked his back with my spear. Crush formula made this fight rather easy. Still the crowd would throw trash at you that hurt you as well.

The scene then goes back to Nutty and Oscar and the market is open again, and we will get to the trading of things... next time!

Welcome back. When we left yesterday we were to go across the river to look for the Diamond eyes of the sacred Dog. However before leaving Nobilia we had shopping at the Market to do. The Market is a place where there are many stalls. Each one has different items and by slowly trading up and up you can pick up some great armor, and rare items. I decided to let you guys in on how I was able to max out Nutty on all of these things.

First Nutty picked up rice. There are three traders of Rice and I used the one that cost three Jewels a bag. Nutty maxed out his rice to 99 bags.

Next is the second common trading item at the market, Spice. You will need a lot of Spice. I think in total I traded off about 200 units of spice to get what I needed. This is the guy I chose to go to for my Spice. It cost 4 bags of Rice each.

Next we went for Beads. Another barter item at the market. Nutty picked up about 40 beads, each one costing 2 Rice and 3 Jewels.

After beads we needed perfume. Yet another bunch of bartering tools for the market. We picked up 30 perfumes at a cost of 3 spice each.

Next we went for a souvenir spoon. They sell for 2 Spice each. We picked up one.

Next we picked up 5 Gold Jackals. They are not only look fancy, but have some decent trade value. They cost 5 spice each.

Next Nutty picked up Tapestry. Nutty bought 5 for 3 Beads each.

After Nutty had to buy 2 Limestone Tablets. Each one cost 4 Spice + 2 Beads

Next we bought Jeweled Scarabs. Each one had a cost of 1 Spice + 2 Perfumes.

Next Nutty bought 5 chickens. Yup five chickens. They cost 1 spice and 2 rice each.

We also buy a few Amulet of Annihilation here at a cost of 15 Bags of rice. A lot better than 10,000 Jewels.

Now that we got all our tradeable items in place (Rice and Spice restocked again a few times) Nutty went after the rare things. First the Jade Disk. they cost 3 chickens + 3 Beads.

After the Jade Disk comes the Sun Stone. The cost of this was 1 Limestone tablet + 5 Rice each.

Next comes the Moxa Stick. The cost of the Moxa Stick is 1 Jeweled Scarab + 12 Spice.

Next we pick up the Silver Sheath. I forgot to write down the price for it, but picked it up.

Next Nutty grabbed the Ruby Heart. It costed 1 Jeweled Scarab + 1 Limestone tablet + 1 Gold Jackal.

So now that we have all we need from Nobilia it is time for us to go back across the desert and find a way across the river to the west of the Rouge Town... Next time!

Before we again make our way across the desert we find a rock that we can use Levitate on. As we lift it up Tiny shows up and decides to give it a toss to show you how a real man throws a Rock.

We go across the desert and when we do we finally get to see that rock fall down. It leads to some Jewels and a sweet call bead.

Next time we will finally cross the river and continue to search for the Secret of Evermore.

So from the Rouge town we head West. When we get to the next area, we are attacked bye a Sand Spider and a Rouge out looking for treasure. We also se the way across in a form of a bridge that has been taken out. No worries though as Oscar is able to leap across the gap and takes a platform on a rope over to Nutty so he can get across too.

We are now in a new area that looks like a Forest. We still have those pesky spiders attacking and a new type of Monster called a dancing fool. I would have explored this a little more except I got knocked off a cliff and it took me to the next plot point which I will begin in the next post.

Ok so the pictures to show up unbroken I have to mix up this next post into 3 or 4 as there is major plot points with meeting a resident of Podunk.

We wake up in a Camp to meet a Mr. Horace Highwater from Podunk USA. He gives us some inside to the leader of Nabilia, and tells us where to find the diamond eyes of the sacred dog. He also tells us it was him who dug those pits that Nutty fell in, and his Alchemist gives us the reveal Formula so we can find the secret path across them. Here is the conversation so we don't leave any of it out for you guys.

Now We know what we have to do, and where to go. However like any great RPG adventurer we first must grind up our new sword to level 3, and also do some exploring.

Let me know if you like how I am posting all the conversations or not.

When we left off yesterday we were to find the two diamond eyes for the sacred dog statue. Our other Podunkian Horace gave us the locations of where they were hidden, we also got the hint that there was a Alchemist hidden in the walls of the Hall of Colossus. Well lets head to that one first. It is Just north of the camp when you leave, and to get there Nutty has to cast his new reveal spell.

With the Path way cleared we get to the outside of the place to see it is guarded by Mad Monks, and Sand Spiders. After we take them out we Enter.

Once inside we enter a large room filled with rats, and a new enemy call Lime Slime, they look like Ninja Turtle ooze floating around. They are not fast, and easy to defeat so we dispatch them and look around on what to do. At the top of the room there is a place where we can use two reveal spells, and a switch that gives us a hint that if we throw something like a spear we could get across. Nutty equips the spear he has, but it isn't heavy enough. So we use reveal on the path and it leads to a switch that opens a door in the main room for us.

Once in the new door we see ourselves in a bit of a maze. the trick is to head up in the maze, once there hit a switch that makes a temporary bridge across the gap. Hit another switch that opens up door two in the main room. Problem is Nutty and Oscar are on this side of the gap because the temporary bridge is now long gone after crossing it. No worries though, as there is another switch on this side that has a temporary bride attached to it. When you hit the switch you then have to hustle across the floor while dodging Dancing Fools, and Lime Slime to make it to a bridge that is on a timer that let Nutty and Oscar across. Just like that room one of 4 is complete in the Hall of Colossus.

Now that we have a second door in the main hall unlocked from the switch Nutty and Oscar head over there. Nothing to complex about this room as it is a mini boss fight against a Minitor. Once Nutty and Oscar dispatched this little fella, a switch on the floor opened up that unlocked the third door of the main hall.

When we head into the 3rd room we see a bridge on our right and a switch north of us. When we hit the switch it just takes us to the main hall again so we need to head across the bridge to open the path to the 4th room. This bridge is probably the reason people rage quit this game back in the day as it falls from underneath you, and when you sprint you run out of energy before making it across making you start the run across again. the trick is to sprint until you have 50% energy left, let it go up to 75% then sprint again. If you do this you should make it across easy enough. It took us to a area with a lot of Switches. I had Nutty hit them all and we got to continue as one of them opened up the 4th door in the main hall.

In the 4th room we get another temporary bridge across a gap that we take. Once across we check the walls of an area and find a secret passage to the Alchemist that was hinted at earlier. He gives us a new Fire Ball spell to play with and lets us save our game if wanted.

Now that we have the Fireball Formula lets continue through the rooms on this 4th area. Nutty and Oscar continue until they run into a Mad Monk that seems to be a little more beefy than the others. He has about 1000 HP while all the others have about 70HP what they have faced so far. After Nutty and Oscar Route him he drops a Bronze Spear. Heavy enough to toss across that gap in the main hall and hit the switch.

With the spear Nutty and Oscar head back to the main hall and hit the switch across the gap to open a bridge across.

Across the gap is another boss fight, Megataur. He is big and Beefy, and attacks by rolling around to hit you. He also uses Confound to mess up your controls, Crush, and drain to heal. I just attacked him with Oscar and threw a few Crushes back at him and tried out our new Fireball spell and he fell easy enough. Be sure to have your Cure spell handy too to take away Confounded when it strikes. Just like that Nutty and Oscar now have the first of the two diamond eyes!

Welcome back. With one diamond eye in our possession it is time to head for the second! The other one is in the great Pyramid to the south of the camp so we head that way. We first come across a pit that we use reveal to find our path across.

Once across we are at the base of the pyramid. There is a set of stairs that go up but Oscar can't climb them. However there is another way in for him as Nutty stands on a switch he gets access at the bottom.

With Oscar inside it is time for Nutty to find a way in. He has to climb the steps and work his way around to an entrance.

Once Nutty is inside too He works on a maze that takes him to different area's inside and out while Oscar steps on switches to open doors to other places.
Eventually Nutty makes his way to the top, but he needs Oscar there too to open the door so he takes some steps down and back in he goes.

This is a very complex dungeon and really its tough to show people where to go. However Nutty and Oscar kept working the switches and opening ways ahead until Nutty ran into a mini boss fight against two Sons of Anhur. After Nutty wins the fight he is given the Bronze Ax that lets him chop through weak walls.

The Boss himself is fairly easy, however he is accompanied bye statues that shoot spells at you and really hurt you bad. Take out the statues with spells and he is stuck without much offence and a sitting duck. Your reward is 1000 Jewels and the next Diamond Eyes Statue.

Now that we have both Nutty and Oscar make there way back to Horace's Camp. However when we get there we find out that Horace has left to the west side of the river, So Nutty and Oscar head there... Next time!

When we last left you Nutty and Oscar had just gave up the diamond eyes to a Loony Horace. They decided to follow as they made their way out got held up by two Rouges and lost the path. No worries as we knew he was headed to Nobilia across the desert. So Nutty and Oscar decide to go across the desert to confront "Horace". This time we with a Amulet of Annihilation on our persons decide to take the boat across.

When we get there we enter the market and it is completely dead. Something must be going on and we can only guess it has to do with the diamond eyes so We Head to the Nobilia Square and listen to Horace give a speech.

Well it wasn't much of a surprise that the statue turned into a boss fight for us. This was a very easy fight. The statue would where a mask that was like a shield.
When it was up it would shoot a random enemy at you to attack you. I had Oscar take that out while I charged my Bronze Ax to level 3 and waited for his mask to go away then hit him with the power attack. He dropped easy and I don't even think I was hit as he didn't swarm us with enemies, and he had no other offence himself.

Well. We know know we have to head to that new tunnel to explore a new area of Evermore, which we will do...Next time!

So we now know we need to head through the new area that opened up thanks in part to the exploding little pyramid Tiny tossed for us. We start bye going to the Great Pyramid to see the river has dried up and we have access down the river bank that takes us right through Horace's camp, and to a waterfall. We Jump off the waterfall and en Up in a ill lit cave.

The Cave itself is fairly straight forward, as there are platforms that you can step on to teleport to new area's of it. However I ignored them and just walked until a dead end and then teleported. We are met with a new Enemy called Oglin. These things look like a midget in a cape that attack with a small knife. However at the end of the cave we run into a giant squid who is looking to do some damage.

This fight was a lot tougher than the last boss fight as he has his tentacles come through the floor to nail you, and has little balls of light that try and track you down too. I had Nutty use Crush on the Tentacles, and then attacked the Squids head with the Bronze ax. Has Oscar deal with the lights attacking us, and he fell to us. At the end of the fight we hear a voice that tells us to hope into a bucket.

We are brought up to a new world through a well opening and we get a brief description of where we are, and where to head next. We also get our first look at a new form for Oscar, he is now a purple Poodle.

So we make our way to the Ivor Tower. We run into one new enemy that looks like a porcupine in a knights Helmet, Dancing fools, and Blue Goo. At the end of the road we reach the new town of Ivor Tower.

When we talk to people inside it is obvious that the queen is acting strange, and the king is just watching a puppet show all day and not caring about anything. We also explore the city and find a guy willing to teach us a new Alchemy spell called Lance, which is one of the best attack spells in the game!

Well if you did a lot of trading in Nobilia, and came prepared there is a market here too that will allow you to get things such as the Thug Cloak, and Chocobo Egg for next to free. We also are able to trade in our Jewels for Gold Coins on a 2-1 trade, and Talons to Gold on a 3-1 trade. Ouch for those holding on to Talons.

They say also a show is in town through the Ally, so Nutty and Oscar check it out. However the cost of a ticket is the old Amulet of Annihilation. Nutty picked up a few extra in Nobilia, and found two more around town so we will check out the show, and maybe become the bearded boy... Next time

This is a bit of a maze as different vents lead to different rooms with more vents. Eventually you make your way to this room with the odd out bookcase. You will remember in the conversation with the woman Nutty had at the table about a bookcase and behind it. So Oscar jumps behind it to make his way to the final set of vents that lets him out.

So we are tossed in a dungeon for making a bit of a mess at the banquet. No worries, Oscar was able to wiggle out and once he steps on a switch we are able to get out of our cell.

We find in one cell a way out! It leads to a sewer so Nutty and Oscar are now in the sewers of Ivor Tower.

The sewers of the place will whoosh you in a direction, you can use the Jaguar Ring however to fight against the current too. It also damages you so be sure to be ready with some healing items, or spell. As we make our way through we run into a man who teaches us the corrosion formula he is just beside the exit.

It seems the queen has apologized for her behavior, and wishes us to do a task for her. Since this is a new castle she wishes for us to bring the rest of her people back from the old one. Only problem is they don't want to come and they raised the bridge and locked it. She wants us to go across the chess board into the ravine and drop the bridge so she can take the old castle bye force.

Well we have our marching orders from the Queen, so we leave the castle and head to the chess board. To get to there there is a hedge maze of sorts to navigate with the chess board in the middle. Once there we get attacked bye a Chess Piece called a Foot Knight. Once we defeat him it opens up our path forward.

We walk down the set of stairs to find... More stairs. it seems to lead underground (Duh) but deep underground. As Nutty and Oscar make their way forward they are harassed by floating Skulls. Near the end Nutty see's a similar power core as to the one in the Sacred Dog Statue.

As we enter the forest we meet our first "Dragon" really he isn't Game of Thrones dragon special so we kill it and wonder around. The Forest is actually a giant maze of screens. At first I forgot the tell on the way to go and wondered around blind for a while. Worked out fine though as we run into a guy who gives us a spell that is kinda like Life3 where if you die in a fight you get back up with full health.

After I remembered the tell of the correct way had an owl in the tree each screen Nutty and Oscar made their way through the forest. As we go through we meet... well... Nutty? Yes we meet Birds that morph into Nutty and we must kill 3 of them to continue on.

So we continue our Journey. When we left we had just defeated Nutty's Twin and received the Crusader Sword as our reward. However we are only half way through the forest. Like before however the way is shown to us from use of Owls in the trees.

When we get to the end of the forest we meet a boss that is a Drake Dragon. He wasn't tough as his only attack was fireball, and Nutty and Oscar trapped him in the corner and just beat him until he died. Our reward was the Lance weapon.

Now we have made our way through the forest, it is time to find a way into Ebons Keep. We are by a dried up sewer that seems to be connected to the old Castle and town so Nutty and Oscar decided to go in and make their way through it.

Once through the sewers we end up in a dungeon. Same as the one in Ivor Tower that has switches the open doors, and have a few enemies waiting on the other side. This time it was Raptors waiting if you opened the doors. However one of them leads us out and into the town.

When we first enter town it looks abandon. There is boxes over all the doors, and the plants have withered and died. The city also has a sad song playing in the background. I did find two people however, the first being an old lady who was hidden in a house secret room. She is an alchemist who teaches us the Regen Spell.

So we decide to Enter the castle of Ebon Keep. It is definitely looking like a ruin, and rodents have taken over.

As we make our way to the throne room we have it blocked. A Giant Rat blocks our way forward. This was a tougher fight, as he sat to high to hit him and he used powerful Alchemy on Nutty and Oscar. He also healed himself with Drain. in the end however Nutty used both Crush and Lance to beat him.

With the Rat out of our way Nutty and Oscar enter the main hall of Ebon Keep and meet someone named Tinker. They have a conversation with him.

So now we have Tinkers Ax we can cut through Barriers that have blocked pieces of Evermore from us. We will make our way through the sewers... Next Time!

So now we make our way through the sewers of Ebon Keep. This time it is much easier as the Ax Tinker gives us lets us take a shortcut through.

Once through the Sewers we use the Ax to head north this time as the Evil Queen is waiting to kill us by the chess board.

We now enter a new area that is a tower filled with little Dragons and grubs. the idea is to make your way to the top of the tower.

Once at the top a giant dragon named Sterling will fight you. Hope you brought lots of Alchemy Ingredients because if you get to close to him he picks you up and drops you off the edge. Lance and Crush work well on him however so use them to your advantage from the floor below.

Once the fight is over Tinkers brother Gomi will stop it and explain the tower, the dragons, and upon hearing Tinker sent you will take you to Ivor Keep.

So Sterling drops us off at Ivor Tower. However he can't just drop us off in town, so he drops us off at the sewers for Nutty and Oscar to go through again... Next time.

This time the sewers are easy to get through. All you have to do is hop on the current, and it will take you to the castle.

As we go into the castle we find it almost abandon. However the king is still watching his puppet show, so we head over there. When we do we get attacked by the puppets, and after the puppet master. Its not a tough fight, as the puppets go down easy. kill them and they respawn. I would hit the puppet master with either Lance or Crush, then hit him with a weapon.

After that the evil queen is upset and tries to kill you by jumping on you. However she misses you and her massive size puts her through the floor and it starts to break apart the foundation of the castle. With the evil Puppets and their master defeated the King gains his senses and together you make a run for it.

Now safely out of the castle The king hints that it looks like everyone went back to Ebons Keep. However if you explore the town of Ivor Castle, You will notice the inn is still open for travelers, however the rest of the town is abandon. They even blocked up their doors.

Well Tinker promised to help us so we will go talk to him. The quick way back to Ebon Keep is across the Chess Board, the drawbridge has been lowered so you can walk right into the castle from there. Then lets head over and talk to Tinker... Next Time!

We make our way to tinker and he has a new toy for us to play with. Its a windwalker (Airship Evermore Style yay!) He explains that he needs a few parts for his new invention a rocket ship that will send us into space to the space station, but needs a few parts first. Some in the Prehistoric area, others in the old world area.

Well now that we have it we can spread our wings and go anyplace in Evermore we want. First stop is the Prehistoric village to talk to Fire Eyes. Or you can also go and find an easy place to grind your weapons up to level 3. Also you can restock Alchemy ingredients such as Limestone which we havn't seen sold since the old World.

Well Its time for Nutty and Oscar to talk to Fire Eyes. She gives us a general location of things we are looking for, and talks about the people in the experiment and a robot butler.

So now to find the items. First we will head to the bugmuck. Once again we are heading to the giant bug in the center. There are no new enemies and since Nutty and Oscar got through this with a big bone and a grass hat earlier... It is very easy with top rated equipment now.
At the End of the bug we see another Giant Spider like the one that captured Strong Heart. This fight isn't as tough. Just use the Ax to charge up to Level 3 walk up to the heart and let Fly doing over 800HP damage every hit. He will use a few spells on you so you may need to heal a few times. When defeated, just like that you got your first item!

Now we have one of the items, time to go for the second one. It is North at the base of the Volcano. We head that way.

When you get to the puzzle we did to gain access to the top of the Volcano earlier we take the same path up. Except this time instead of hitting the top, we fall to a area of the base with the second item.

Well we Landed in Nobilia and are about to talk with Horace and grab the diamond eyes. Only one problem. Horace tells us Tiny has taken them and has gone to the great Pyramid and has hidden himself in the Ogren cave there. Well Time for us to cross the desert and go get them from Tiny, May as well fly across.

Nutty and Oscar land beside the Rouge town, and work west and across the river. From there the Pyramid is South, and the Ogren Cave is visible and it used to be under water but open now.

The Ogren cave is a bunch of Teleports and breakable walls. once you are done exploring use Levitate on one rock to push the switch, have Nutty stand on another, and Oscar on a the third and it will open the way to Tiny. Tiny has even more teleports, and he tosses Ogrens at you. I just ran from Teleport to teleport and eventually you end up beside him and he gives you the diamond eyes without a fight.
