Nobody has said VIII? Squall is a whiny dork, Zell is an obnoxious dork, Selphie is a quirky dork, Seifer is an angsty dork who leads two dorks who can't speak properly and then in the flashbacks you have the king of all dorks - but is also very adorkable - Laguna.
Don't forget dorktructor Trepe! She's 18 years old and she's the teacher to a bunch of other 18 year olds. That's super saiyan dork levels right there. Look at her!Quote:

Let's face it you could rename Final Fantasy VIII "High School LARP Adventures" and everything would still make perfect sense.

I don't know my answer to this question, I just wanted to say that this thread is amazing.
Also with triple triad, it's so widespread that it's weird when someone won't play. Urgently looking for someone who just kidnapped the president? Still time to stop and play cards. Guards that must be vigilant in making sure people don't pass? They can let their guard down a moment to play cards. World has ended? Well, at least the cards game survived.
