What are you looking forward to most in 2017?

For me...

- Star Citizen (particularly Squadron 42)
- Mass Effect Andromeda
- untitled thatgamecompany game
- Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood
- WipEout Omega Collection
- Uncharted 4 expansion: The Lost Legacy

I'll be keeping an eye on a few other games such as Ni No Kuni II, but I've not played the first one yet so I'd want to do that. Really interested to see what pops up this year as compared to 2016, I can't say many titles are really grabbing my attention, with the exception of the new Mass Effect game which I've honestly read nothing about as I'm wanting to go in without expectations. If Star Citizen actually gets released officially then I'll be all over that, though.

Well, Gravity Rush 2 comes out in about a week, so that's top of the list!

Also:

STORMBLOOD

For now, pretty much just Dragon Quest VIII, which is coming out in less than two weeks.

Hoping we could get a Western announcement for DQX!

Oooh I forgot about this. I'm still playing my first Atelier game at the moment (Ayesha) and looking forward to Sophie and Firis coming out on Steam. Also I am... massively interested in Blue Reflection for reasons I can't quite put my finger on. I think I'm just really, really in the mood for a magical girl RPG.

The really annoying thing is that while my Japanese is not yet good enough to import it it might​ be good enough by September 15th when I no longer need to do so

No, Persona 5 comes out in April. He mistakenly put the JP release date from 2016.

No I didn't. Seriously I saw the date and didn't even think twice with how many times it's been delayed.

Andromeda. I have it preordered and have been devouring any new info. Btw a new initiative part is up (if you do all six you'll get some in game items upon release).


And I didn't realize until DMKA's post but the crash bandicoot re-release

ME: Andromeda definitely. I also have high hopes for Yooka-Laylee which may fill a platforming void I've had since Super Mario 3D World. Other than that, some things look good like more Uncharted, Red Dead 2, and Horizon: Zero Dawn but I'll wait and see how they are received.

I also really hope Nintendo Switch is a true handheld/console hybrid and not just a console that you sometimes play on the go. If it is, sign me up for it and Zelda.

Crash Bandicoot is a good one, I used to love the Crash games.

Probably the only one on there that may be that obscure to most people here is Mary Skelter, but damn the concept looks great.

Idea Factory! is a bit hit and miss on titles, but always interesting. And Fairy Fencer F showed potential for tackling heavier themes, and Mary Skelter seems like it may really try to commit to it this time where as Fairy Fencer F felt like it was pulling it's punches a bit.

Also, you know, only Vita game coming out next year I want. :p
