Not much is directly said in the game about it, but it is super obvious these two have something going on. :3: God help that kingdom if they ever do hook up though, seeing that she's already terrorized the area with weaponized rats and drag racers without living in the palace.

The game heavily implies the Fayt/Sophia pairing, but I never liked it much -- both due to my distaste for Sophia and general belief that these two work together much better. Team blue hair fo' lyfe! >_< /
Kliff and Mirage also deserve mention here, though not enough time is spent on interactions between the two.
There's also Roddick and Ilia in SO 1 that I really liked as a couple, but that's one that is directly pulled apart with Ilia telling him things might have been different if he had been born on Earth. Earth chicks don't dig the tail, poor fellow. ; -;

While the game really (and I mean REALLY) wants you to buy the Garret/Mina romance, I always preferred the Sabra/Garret one. They've known each other for a longer period of time, both survive the attack on castle at the start of the game, and dragon riders are waaaaay more awesome than priests. I mean, that priest can become a silly overpowered 'ranger' (see also: ninja), but still. Sadly, I don't think there is anything in the game that really supports the idea if there being romantic ties in this couple, but ah dun care! >_<

Lyndis has no mention in Binding Blade, so it is impossible to know if this pairing is official, but I'm fairly sure it is not (I'm thinking Lyn + Rath is the more likely pairing) though it really should be. You can pair them together in Blazing Sword, which I always do, and I love how they grow together during their interactions, both general story and support. Favorite FE couple! >_< / It is, however, very closely followed by . . .

This one is super cheatsy, as it is so close to official that the only things running contrary to it are Roy's apparent lack of dragon blood (which would have been AWESOME by the way. Binding Blade and Dragonstone? yuuuus. >: D), and Eliwood's ability to marry two other people -- one of whom is Lyn, which is pure blasphemy. Much like playing with the Lyn and Hector romance in mind, this one works really well via both story and support conversations, and they come together quite nicely. There's also a real bittersweet twist to the romance that I love, though the ending, depending on your point of view, completely ruins it, but bleh, whatever. Romance is still 5/5, would marry them again.

Yep. I did it. This is a thing that is happening now. I used to pair Eirika and Seth, but then someone made the comment to me that Eirika only had eyes for her brother and I'll be damned if I don't agree with their assessment. Sucks for Renais, though.

Sally on the other hand, while only appearing in a single official Sonic game that I'm aware of (Spinball), is a character from the comics / cartoon with more backbone and definition to her, and I think her (generally) firm attitude pairs well with Sonic's overall free nature. Sadly, although I'm fairly certain Sega does actually own the character, they've shown no real interest in implementing her in the main game universe, making this pairing another one leaning heavily on the cheatsy side of things.
Sonic and the Freedom Fighters material is leagues better than anything SEGA themselves ever came up with. Sally actually has dimension to her. Motive, purpose, and moral dilemmas
And uh, kudos on going there, and shipping incest(?). It wouldn't surprise me if the characters were written that way as Japan tends to have some weird fixation with questionable sibling feelings

I don't buy the Lena / Bartz romance at all, but this is a pair I always have. The idea of two free spirited, adventurous people exploring the world together, with a strong bond of friendship and hardship shared between them growing into something more just works too well for me not to ship this couple.
A similar situation occurs with Firion and Leila in FF2, although the intention to pawn Firion off on Maria is far more clear in that title (which is unfortunate considering how much of a shell she is -- I swear she just exists to follow Firion around and provide two sentences of drama with her brother). Leila isn't the best defined either, but I get an innocent feel out of Firion and see the more worldly, driven pirate lady working better for him than the empty tag along.

Though the game never outright, to my recollection, says or implies this relationship is romantic, I'm fairly certain everyone that played through Asellus' story came to the conclusion it was. Their bond is quickly established by the game and I always felt they were growing closer as Orlouge continued attempting to recapture them. You also cannot ever recruit one without the other. :p

This is one of those pairings that the game goes out of its way to prevent being a thing, as Ras and the Princess are clearly attracted to each other and Farah kind of has Reid going for her, but this was always the pair I wanted instead. Reid / Farah work much better as childhood friends and Farah ultimately reshapes Ras' path in life -- it could have been a really great romance if Namco had decided to pursue it. :(

You know something, I should hate this pairing, I really should. I felt the romance dialogue in Mass Effect, in general, was awful, abrupt, and unnatural, especially at the start of things, and Garrus' was no exception. What was good, however, was everything else about the pairing, and the romance between them, born from trial, trust. and friendship, feels natural enough that even squirrely dialogue and divergent species can't kill it for me. :up:

Some people like Ryu / Katt, and I kind of see it, but this was always the pairing for me. Nina's generally on the quiet side with her emotions, but it's pretty (undeniably) clear she has feelings for Ryu, and I like to imagine they are reciprocated -- especially if Ryu I / Nina I are any indication. Sucks for that Wing Clan bloodline, though.

While I've never found anything to official imply anything between these two, I've always paired them together in my head. While this may be due to their similar fighting styles and outfits (both being part of the same military squad), Washi also knows that Kaori has assumed her brother's identity at the head of the squad following the events of the first game and both keeps her secret and follows her loyally. I generally like to assume there is some romantic attachment there. :)

Cloud/Aerith because I've come to love their tragic relationship a lot more as I grow up.

Grahf/Miang because it's kind of interesting to ship the "dark" versions of the Contact and Elly. Plus they do have some history that is fascinating to think about.

Gotetsu and the old lady Au Ra. Gotetsu is already Reinhardt and the old lady have off an Ana vibe, so yeah. I'll be sad if they never interact.
