So how do you move around in your day to day life?
Do you drive?
Take the bus?
Walk around town?
Are you a secret billionaire who helicopters everyplace you need to be?
Or do you hook up the dog sled team and mush around?
How do do you make your way from point A, to point B?
For or me I drive. I live in town, but right at the very edge of it and the closest store is a good 5km away. If it was closer I would probably walk though to be honest.
Trams mostly. Sometimes by bus or city bike, too. My city has one of the best public transportation in the country, but also some of the most expensive. City bikes are dirt cheap, though. It doesn't even charge you money until you ride for longer than 20 minutes.
Sounds dangerous. People will be pedalling to their destination fast to avoid paying!Quote:

We're still developing out public transportation system as well, which I should use more often. I also walk everywhere.
I live in a suburban area, so aside from the shops around the corner from me I have to drive my truck because things are too spread out. Especially for work since it's six miles away.
But at the same time I wouldn't want to live in a more condensed area like downtown where I could walk or bike everywhere.
I drive. I'm not really in a good place to walk around here, but I prefer walking to get around where I can.
I'm actually a secret billionaire, but instead of using my helicopter, I like to just drive a car.

When I'm in NYC I walk or wait for the subway delays to end. :monster:
I drive literally everywhere. The grocery store is literally five houses down from me but I still drive. :p
I usually drive around in my red ranger, but its not my favorite way. There's nothing like a ride on the ol' harley for a good time. Unfortunately, when I go somewhere I have to buy something or carry something, so the ranger it is.
I live in the middle of nowhere. I drive.
I always try to walk as much as possible. I like to think that it's best to walk now that I'm young and my legs work properly, rather than when I'll be old and forced to be as slow as a snail. :gator:
I have a 2015 Jeep Renegade so that's usually my mode of transportation to and from almost every where. I'm a huge fan of walking and running too, so if something is in close proximity, I'll venture out on foot instead.
Spending 2 hours every day commuting to work often deters from going anywhere else during the week except for errands.
That being said, at least having recently purchased a new car makes the ride slightly more tolerable, but there are days when I wish I could commute by train like before.
