I was gonna vote for Aeris but Psy's description of Cloud is awesome and it swayed me.

Aeris. She had such a tragic childhood, what with her Mother dying, and constantly being hunted down by Shin-Ra. Then she fell in love and her boyfriend was killed. Despite this she always managed to stay so positive, right up until her untimely demise.

Aerith is my fave gal in VII, which wasn't hard considering my options and I doubt Elena is in this tournament. Cloud is nice, but I feel he's overrated.

Aerith seems like someone you could meet irl and is maybe my single favorite FF character so her

I tried to find an image of Cloud rising his sword against Aerith or a .gif of him attacking her at the temple, but I failed on both fronts.

Instead I'll just say I'm voting for Cloud. :shrug:

Aerith! I find her personality more interesting.
