Do you lurk?
Are you a fan of waiting in the shadows, waiting for that perfect word play joke?
Have you been mistaken for a spider?
Do you prefer to stay invisible or have your name up in lights while you watch over?

yeah i morely lurk nowadays cos i got addicted to ffxiv. truth.
*pops out of hole* hello *scurries away*
Yeah, I've been lurking a lot lately. I see a lot of topics that I could respond to, but I'm too lazy. :D
I never saw the point in being invisible or lurking. My account saves my settings to Oldskool which I prefer plus I could care less if my name is lighted up so ya. Never lurk in the shadows.
I sometimes think about coming back and posting, but then I'm like, "Nah."
Some members are playing a forum wide game of the Thread of No Return.
Just trying to get those big points.
I am the one who lurks
I mostly lurk these days. I've kind of become like that IRL too, at nights out I'm sometimes the person that's just there, mostly quiet - chiming in every now and then with a well-timed joke or conversational prod, and then just going back to watching the world go by.
I didn't choose the lurker life, it chose me.
With only like 10 people left who post here, I try to get mine in where I can.
All the time. It's like being back at the Vietcong training camp.
Yep. Lurking is the new black, or whatever metaphor you prefer to use.
i lurk more than i post. probably.
I didn't lurk at all in last 2-3 years since I last posted. I pretty much forgot about these forums tbh. I do lurk in some forums such as Sher dog, but usually if I find a forum good enough to lurk in its good enough to post in 😀
I may have merely adopted the shadows from whence I lurk but I lurk like mofo'ing Batman
I lurk like a swamp monster. (I'm not sure why a swamp monster specifically, but I lurk like one. :p) There's another forum I've been on for over 12 years, and I still have less than 800 posts.
I usually only post if I actually have something relevant to say, and most of the time I end up second-guessing it and scrapping the whole thing anyway, so that's why. If I posted every time I began to write a reply, I'd probably triple my post count--I've actually scrapped posts I spent nearly an hour working on. Either I can't get the wording right and worry that it'll be misunderstood, or I suddenly get bored of working on it and just dump the whole thing. (And sometimes, such as when I'm ranting about something, just writing about it is catharsis enough and I don't need to post it anymore.)
I am the lurkiest.
I lurked for a long time, then just stopped coming, because I didn't really have anything to contribute.
Now that the traditional rule of law has completely broken down, and people are free to spam like savages once more, I feel more in my element.
I lurk.
I tend to come back every now and then, but I keep lurking nonetheless.
