What was your first FF?

My VERY first was FF... I think it was... II Adventure? The gameboy one anyway. Shamefully, I didn't really get into FF until I bought FF7 in about '99 and then around 2002 I started playing the classics thanks to roms. So... Voila. Thank Mr. Chzn8r for the birth of Paladin. lol

Started off with FF1 waaaay back in elementary school. Yup, been with things from the start, although I was extremely skeptical about this whole "role-playing-game" thing until my brother brought the game home. :) Missed out on the SNES episodes, though, until college and the discovery of emulation.

My first FF was FF7

FF8. Got it back when I was in elemantry school.

like many here, I started in elementary school, but I started when ff1 was released on NES. I remember getting the Final Fantasy strategy guide in Nintendo Power and thinking I MUST HAVE. I was 10.

I started with FF1 before I even knew what school was. Beat that. =P

FFIX. I must've beaten that game 7 times already.

I started with Mystic Quest via rental, but the first one I bought was FF6 (then called FF3). After I discovered emulation, I was all over 1 and 4 and started foaming at the mouth over 7.

FF6, when I found out about emulators while looking for games to download and play on highschool PCs :p

My first FF game was FFVI. Thank God I didn't realize it at the time because other wise I would have dismissed the whole series because that game SUCKED! I wouldn't have been able to enjoy such games as Mystic Quest or FFVII...both are AWESOME games. But I truely would not be able to enjoy FFXII...one of the greatest games ever made.

FFVI. It's still, by far, my most favorite in the series.

FFLegend 1 on a Gameboy emulator. And the next was FFLegend 3. I stuck in the second one coz' I really didn't like FFL1, but FFL3 was the one that pushed me into RPG's before I finally laid my hands on CT *praises*

FF7.

Final Fantasy 8.I got it when I was in Junior high.

FF2 (or 4) was my first. My neighbor used to rent it a lot and she'd come over and we'd play it. Take turns on the random battles and such. :D

FF3 (or 6) was the first one I bought though, off of a friend in highschool for 40 bucks, well worth it. It's my fave to this day.

i remember playing it for about 10mins and i thought it was the most stupid game ever, but as i continued it got better and better, now its one of the best RPGs i have played

V or VI for me. I cannot clearly remember which one it was though.
I was over a friend's house that time and just grabbed the control and started playing without knowing what I got myself into. Into FF obsession, that is. ^^
The first game I bought was X along with my beloved PS2.

My first was FFVII the best of the bunch.

The first FF i played was one of the gameboy ones (dunno wich one). I liked it so i got FF 4 and i loved FF since.

My first FF was 8 and it is still my favorite. I was looking for 7 but the store i was at was sold out. so i asked for a different one and the guy gave me 8.

for me it all started with FFIV (or FFII at the time)
my mom had given it to me as a xmas gift thats right if mom hadn't got me it i might have never got'n into FF thanks mom! i've spent so much money cuz if you!

I guess it was Mystic Quest but the game that got me hooked was FFVII.

I started on VIII, which is why I think it's not the worst one.... Then I (got a job at a Funcoland :mad: and bought them all :p ) then went backwards to FF1 and worked my way up. I like all of them really, except VII sometimes when it's being a bi*ch. :fd:

FFVII, and it's still the best game I've ever played in my life.

My first FF was FFI and I played it for the first time almost 13 years ago.

I started with Final Fantasy, still the best of them all.

I played FF9 then FF6 and FF7 then I buyed FF4 & 5 then chrismas came i got FF10

The first Final Fantasy I played was FF VI. I was twelve years old when I first played it.

Final Fantasy VII was the Final Fantasy that got me into Final Fantasy.

FF8. Then FF9, FFX, FF7, Tactics, now looking for the older ones (can't wait for Origins!!) since I discovered such a great series of games.

I got FF7 and FF8, it was pretty funny, I had never heard of a game called that before in my entire life. Heh, I was all like go sport gmaes, then I beat FF8 and thought it was so awesome. Now I have all of them released in the US*except for origins which comes out NEXT WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*

The first Final Fantasy I played was FF8. From my next door neighbor.

My first Final Fantasy was number 8, which my uncle gave to me in 1999.

7.......which is also my favorite. But sometimes I think it's my favorite partly because it was the first one I played. That may be true......but I get the feeling that when I'm 30, I'll still be playing that game.

FF7 in 1997 I think. I used to play that game alot in elementary or whatever.

The first FF I PLAYED was FF7.

The first FF I beat was FF9. That game started the corruption. I think I've played it more times than any person should legally be allowed to play it! XD

My first Final Fantasy was FFVI for Super Nintendo. Eehehehe!

And FFVIII for playstation.

I remember when I was 9 or 10, I always wacthed my brother who was 14 or 15 and my cousin playing FFVII and I thought that must have been a great game. I asked my parents if they could rent me FF2 [FFIV] for my snes and they rented the game and I played it and I loved it so that was my first FF. Then I asked my parents to rent me FF3 [FFVI] for my snes and I loved it so that was my 2nd FF. Then I got FFMQ and i liked it. I'd probalbly hate the game now. Then I asked my cousin if I could play his FFVII and I LOVED it. Two years ago I finally got a PS2 and rented ALL the PSX games execpt FFT and FFX [it wasn't relased yet]. I got FFVII from a E/B games store and beat it twice. I got FFVIII from my oldest cousin's boyfreind's friend because he was selling games.{i'm close friends with my cousin's boyfriend] I got FFIX from my dad who was someplace with my brother for his baseball game. I got FFX from my dad who got it from Wal-Mart.[man, he suprised me when he came home with the game]. I had FFT for my birthday but I lost it. Damn. I got FFA this year from my parent two weeks to easter but they wouldn't let me open it till two days later. I'm at the end of FFV on the PSX now

My first FF was IX. My bro and I rented it for a week a little while after it came out. We didn't have a memory card so I only made it to the first village before it had to go back also I never played an RPG before then so I randomly pressed the X button to get through. I bought it a few years later when I was 14 and beat it.
Order - FF9, 8, 10, working on 7 and X-2

Final Fantasy I was my first. I was about 8 or 9 years old when I got it.

I and II Dawn of Souls. :D I played them at the same time.
