R=U (about bringing it back)

I think R=U threads should be allowed, nay, encouraged! They offer stimulating discussion of a popular topic and people love that.

I really could care less. The game sucks.

i think we should delete the ff8 forum. solves the problem.

I don't mind if it's coupled with more warnings and bannings of people that take part :D

They'd be allowed in the Del Murder Forum. Too bad it was misplaced.

I think it should be allowed back, but with a warning like the one for EoEO. FFVIII is a decent game, but besides moaning about the lack of plot there's not much else to discuss in the forum.

Just because threads discussing the possability of Rinoa being Ultimecia always resulted in flame wars isn't a good enough reason to completly abolish those threads existing altogether. Besides, there's a chance (Albeit a small one...) that the theory can be discussed in a mature manner. Besides, it's a hot topic.

Um, R=U is good.

How many times can you discuss the topic? It's a stupid topic to discuss, most FF topics are.

What about newbies, or people who've just played FFVIII or just heard the theory.

They can go read the old R=U threads and see how people end up getting all huffy and puffy over their own opinions and realise it's better not to talk about it if they don't want to get banned :D

What so they aren't allowed to express their opinions just in case they're the sort of person who should be getting banned anyway? It seems like the ban on R=U only protects people who should be getting a whooping anyways.

Though I don't get a vote, I'll support the deletion of the FFVIII forum, not because I didn't like the game, but rather because the arguements are friggin' annoying, R=U ones especially.

You could always I don't know, maybe not go in the FFVIII forum. Maybe then you wouldn't be forced to click on the R=U thread either.
