If you have questions about the main site. Ok, it's not important.
Oh cry me a river :aimmad:
Underlined names stand out more than bold names. That's the only thing I don't like. Makes site staff seem more important than the mods.
The problem is that when you highlight a link the standard is to underline it. That's why I don't like anything underlined. It looks stupid.
Shut up.
the fact that it annoys delm makes it slightly less annoying to me. i need to take out my fantasy baseball agression somewhere.
We should use strikethrough for the site staff instead :p Hey, they both start with the same letter :p
You won't take my suggestions seriously? Fine. I guess I need to take my business elsewhere.
Goodbye.
I'm invisible, hope that helps ya.
You'd be bold anyway. >=o
I dun like it either, looks weird.
Actually, I'm bold and underlined. :love:
I know, I just noticed that on Spat's. wtf? :aimmad:
That doesn't look as bad as just underlined, though. >_>
It doesn't bother me too much, but what you can do is make admins, knights, site staff, and senior site staff appear in the online list with the same formatted text of their ranks that appear in their posts.
Hooray!Quote:

Use that for banned people. :pQuote:

You mean like this? It's a little too colourful in my opinion. :)Quote:

UGH! Never ever make it that way.
I have a question about Site staff, how does one become a Site staff and what are the nifty benifits of it?
Basically you have to submit a few things towards the site that the Senior Site Staff find to be worthwhile. Consistently posting in Site Staff is also a very nice thing. If Roogle, Spatty and I think that you've been a consistent and worthwhile contributor to the main site of EoFF, then we'll ask an admin to give you the rank.
There are no benefits.
How did I know that was going to be shown? :p Yeah, you're right. I like simplicity also. Meh, I really don't care.Quote:

I don't know why being site staff is important enough that we need to see when they're online. They don't have anything to do with the MB. Bold+underlined stands out way too much too. I'd think Spatvark was an admin if I just joined, the way his name stands out so much.
Yeah, I must admit, they stand out like a light bulb. It's not that aesthetically pleasing.
Yes I have to agree, and they do make you look super duper important, Looney BoB. More so even than italicized Bleys or Sean or ShlupQuack. :)
There is no Looney BoB ;_;
There's actually no Bleys either. But that Looney BoB sure looks more important than that Bleys, and I'm sure that he is in his own special way. :)
Who is this Looney BoB you speak of? And his name is BLEY, not Bley's. :\
Site Staff were never pointed out in the first place, I don't see why it was started in the first place.
Hey, let's stop talking about the first place. The other places are just as tidy.
[q="Loony BoB"]There are no benefits.[/q]
Getting your name underlined on the "Who's Online" list is our only benefit. Plus this spiffy orange rank. And, I'm willing to work for just an underlined name and a spiffy rank.
Because I thought that since site staff were the only ones who didn't get some distinction on the Who's Online list, they would be sad, and it was easy to fix.Quote:

Bleys is always out there to make the sad happy.
What about Senior Site Staff liek me, BoB and Roogle? Admittedly, we're all Knights as well so we're bolded as well, but over-lined as well would look funky XD
What about RMs? I don't see them getting any sort of recognition on the Who's Online list.Quote:

I'm the only one who should get recognition, bunch of whiners.
Have the works. :megaman:
RMs get an invisible underline.
RM's should have glow text.
:cool:
NOBODY should have glow text. Glow text should be BANNED.
NO IT SHOULDN'T.
Edit: I'm not a monkey. >=O
**Bans Shoyku.**
Shoy can have his glow text at FG, not here.
w00 w00
Marquee would be more ... dynamic.Quote:

I don't think that the whole seven people who still go to the main site regularly are going to need to see when a site staffer is viewing the forums, but whatever, it doesn't really bother me.
Approximately 50% of EoFF's traffic is at the main site.Quote:

Well that shuts me up. :(
Unless of course it is rounded to the nearest 50%
Hush, you.
Last time I checked, it was 55% forums, 45% site. =PQuote:

They're still underlined. Please fix.
No.
I dunno how traffic is monitored but I only go to the main site because it's more convienient then link to the forums. Given the amount of questions asked in here that are about topics dealt with on the main site I'm kinda surprised by those percentages.
why dont we give every member some sort of position rank so nobody feels left out. I suggest the pink title.
Genius. I wish to be King Pinky. With King Pinky in hot pink below my nick.Quote:

If you won't fix it at least tell me whose bright idea it was in the first place.
Okay then *bans everyone* Pink it is!Quote:

Who do you think comes up with all the "bright ideas" here?Quote:

Well that certainly shut me up BoB.
Y'know, there's loads of people that go to the mainsite that have no friggin' clue about the MB. Eyes On FF = the site.
I didn't realise this place had forums untill about 2-3 weeks of me first finding the site.....mainly cos i had no idea what forums were. How about instead of our member names showing on the who's online list someone like linus or Bleys makes up strange and annoying names for us all? Yes, i do enjoy sacrificing myself to the wrath of my own suggestions...why?
So is the underline thing going to stay or go?
I have no idea what Bleys changed to put them in, and I'm sure those people want to stick out like sore thumbs in the online list anyway, so they can stay for now :p

Thank you oh so very much!
It's a bunch of crap in the online.php and index.php file; to specifically find it, you'd do well to search for whatever the site staff usergroup id is and whatever the senior site staff usergroup id is.
I'd suggest actually just making the site staffers italic, not bold, and not underlined. Or something. And then for the supermods who are also site staffers... just keep 'em bold. The underline really does look ugly.
Oh, and what's with the RMs no longer being listed on the Forum Leaders list? I liked looking through the list when I got excessively bored, and now I can't. ;_;
Only one of them is important enough to remember anyway.
you must be referring to either Tatum or Drex.
He's talking about Mik.
No...I'm pretty sure he means ed.
It's because we're not important enough.
I think that it's because there are too many of you and you guys hog all of the space on the Leaders list. :)
Yes.Quote:

That's wussy. ;) Why does it matter how long the Leaders list is, anyway? =P Better to have all that information easily accessible to anyone who cares, I say ;)Quote:
