Ok, this is kinda awkward. But how many of you, when Aeris died, kept all of her weapons and everything else that belonged to her? So you could always have something to remember her by. Because I remember keeping everything, sorta as a memoir, but my neighbor, when I looked at his save file, said he kept everything and even named his gold chocobos after Aeris. Is it just him, or did anyone else go through extreme measures to keep Aeris's spirit living inside of them?
um....I didn't do trout because I didn't care? I just don't sell weapons or items in that game. I just don't need the $$$
I sold 'em all. How else are you supposed to buy Hypers?
I only ever sell mastered All Materias, there's no point otherwise and I like collecting everything.
I have a vague recollection of calling a chocobo Aeris, but I can't remember.
I kept ALL of her weapons and armor. At the end of the game I had all staffs and 9 of every bracelet.
yeah. i kept all the staffs, except for one, but i forget which cuz she had it equipped when she left. but i just went and got another just for the novelty of having it. but one of my chocobos was named aeris, just cuz it was a freebie, and i wasnt gonna use it for anything, maybe just ride around. cuz i already had 4 s class gold chocobos so, i figgured what the hell. but obsession isnt a pretty thing. i think my neighbor is just sick or somethin.
I just sold all her weapons. There's really no point in keeping them. I sold all my other characters weapons too.
Either I used the throw materia for her weapons and threw them at enemies or I sold them. No use keepin' em anymore after disk 1....*sigh*
Did you know, if you acquire 99 of every type of her weapons,you can revive her?
Oh, you also need to get the SILK dress at the beginning in the slums, because she needs something to wear when (SPOILER)her decaying corpse rises from the ground - her old dress is bloodstained, and a little chilly from the holes in it...

I see no point in keeping them. I sell everything. Which is funny because I never buy anything. Besides equipment, I hate buying potions.

dude. thats awesome, itd be better if the ultiamte weapons did damage based on ur health when u threw them.
i never really sell weapons because when i need money i'de rather just sell mastered materia it gets you a lot more money, it takes up to much time to go through all your weaponry and sell it
Anyway... has anyone been able to get Aeris's ultimate weapon Princess Guard, and not have to go through with fighting demons gate? has anyone found a way to get out without having Aeris leave ur party?
While I have gotten Princess Guard, I haven't gotten through without confronting demon gate. And no, you can't switch aeris from your party because of certain circumstances in the next few scenes.
yeah. im just trying to find a way to leave the temple once i have the weapon and not have to fight any bosses. i dont think its possible, but im trying anyway
Ya, I kept all her weapons. But I keep all weapons, just in case i figure I might wanna use em in a battle someday for fun. I always name my Gold Chocobo Aeris, because iunno, she died good and that FMV always gets stuck in my head. And all my other names are crappy like: BLAM,Rawr,Lubb, and Slu Po.:choc:

but i just wanna know, (sorry for getting off teh subject), but i heard somewhere if you have Princess Guard and Murasame (can be bought at Wutai), and you go to the weapon seller near Gongaga, he will use them and turn them into a powerful weapon for Cid. Is this true? i tried it and he just keeps making that stupid comment. do i need Mythril or something?
out with the weapons, in with the cash. of course she was still using her default weapon for me at that point every time I play, so it was more like out with nothing, in with nothing.
I kept her weapons and armor just because I never needed to sell them. I always had plenty of money. plus, she was one of my favorite characters and I couldn't let her stuff go. It was too sad. Or maybe I'm the one that's sad.... ^_^

You missed out the "I can't remember" and the "I would have if i thought of it" options.
i cant remember what i did all the previous times and i would have definately done it if i had thought of it if i didnt do it
I was annoyed that she died, because I'd just obtained her ultimate weapon.
I later sold all her belongings to a merchant. "That'll teach her", I thought.
i mourned,

I...didn't do trout, 'cause Aeris sucks, so I didn't care. Meh.
I'm with Mr. Ash on this one. Master an All Materia, easy cash, no problems. I disliked Aeris so much that more often than not, I'd just leave the weapons and armour that was for her. Bracelets? Bah! I had eight of the best kind and didn't care for getting anything for her. ;)
