ORPGs?

Are we allowed to make ORPGS or what? Cause I'd really like to make one (I got a really good idea!)

We tried one, and it didn't work out. When tGA comes back, try there.

Yeah, I'd say tGA got hit even worse than FG did, 'cause you guys can't sue someone in retaliation for all those posts completely vanishing. Bloody hell; that sucks ;x

You just need to lay down some good, solid rules: And enforce them. I know entire forums dedicated to ORPGs.

Yeah, as Shoy mentioned, tGA is an entire MB dedicated to ORPGing. It's also somewhat affiliated with EoFF. If it wasn't down, that is. ;_;

Are all the posts gone forever or can we somehow retrieve them?

Don't quite know, but I'm pretty sure they're gone forever. Including the last couple pages of the RP that I hadn't saved.

I think that it's gone forever. What I think happened is Mr. Host decided to randomly reimage the hard drive that our site was on, wiping it out entirely.

They're not answering their email, that's for sure.

Luckily, I save most of my ORPG posts in word. Unluckily, most of my ORPG posts don't actually progress the story and just involve random chases and stupidity.

I still think that the "I can't believe it's not gold" post was...golden.

I only remember the "I can't believe it's not sand" one. :D

That and the "Roll Call" post are my favorite Hooty-posts.

I'm going to cry about tGA for a bit longer. And once I'm done, I'll do it again. *sigh*

Man, when it finally gets revived, I think I'll set aside a part of my computer for an archive for everything. Ish.

Yeah, I really should have saved the rest of the story. I even have a seperate folder set aside for it...just didn't keep up with it. :cry:

Oh, and it'll get revived whenever I can find the time to go through the whole process of re-uploading the IPB from scratch, and then create the forums and descriptions, make a post of the archives that we do have, and then get another layout. *sighs*

EDIT: I'll definitely have at least the forums up by this weekend(I was hoping to do it today, but I got home really late, so scratch that), and then I guess we'll go from there.

iPB's uploaded, you just have to run the install script.

re-running the install script erases whatever files are in the old forums. That's why iPB encourages to delete the install script from the directory after you're finished with it.

There are no old forums to delete. Run the install script, then delete it.

Done. Well, the MB's up now, and I created the rest of the forums. But Jojo said that she won't do another layout, and I have to deal with even more trout from FG right now, so that's as far as I'm going to get today. Maybe I'll be in a better mood tomorrow.
