Hippaul, because he's the fastest.
My favorite NPC will be always Mog:mog: he's the man, saved my but on FF6 and he's as funny as cute;)
Beatrix is absoloutely perfect. Although she isn't technically an NPC, she's one of the best characters in the game, regardless. Maybe the best.

Beatrix, without a doubt, is the best (non-)character in the game. She's got great skills in battle, and probably one of the best twists in the storyline involves her.
Beatrix, but that's maybe because she actually is a playable character. I think she is great in battle.

Beatrix is cool..no1 can touch steiner though (I know he is not an NPC but but he does rule :P)
It seems like everybody likes Beatrix, I do too... she's cool and she's a strong female character (which I love). Some other NPC that are great are Zorn and Thorn... I can't help laughing everytime they say something... :D

there is an old man in Lindblum (before it is destroyed) called Locke (ff3/6 anyone?).
