I got it, but now all I need is the damn thing to actually work. I'm having so many errors just trying to install the thing. If anyone got past the installation process, let me know how you did it.
Hey talus, I just need to complete the registration for playonline.
I installed the disc that said tetra master on it and clicked on Playonline Viewer. Then installed disc one, then it will tell you to install disc two, then three, then it will tell you to install one again, then you have to install disc four( it will not tell you to install four). Then you have to connect and click on the playonline icon, on your desktop, and it will tell you to download the upgraded version of playonline viewer, if you clicked next, then you just fill out the required information.
Thats as far as I have gotten, hope this helps.

Anyways, dont play 'til tomorrow because I heard FFXI has a huge bug that makes your computer screwy when you play on the day you install it......... *grinnnn* (please believe it.. so we can all start at the same day.. haha)

I'm so confused. I think I got everything installed, what do I do right after disk 4? Why can't they make it easy for simple guys like me?

After disc 4 open the PlayOnline viewer shortcut it installed to your desktop. You've got a ways to go yet. I started at 6:40 and it's 9:18 now, and I've been workin' on settin' it up nonstop. I even have cable internet and I have a 3 hour downlaod literally right before the game opens. So I'll be playin' tomorrow.
This download thing sucks
the stupid patch takes about 20 hours i started at like 8 and its 9:30 i still have an hour to go
Haha! I guess you guys are destined to wait for me to get my copy tomorrow :D
At least its released over there, if I pre-order now I have to wait 3 months and I can only imagine the size of the patch by then *begins thinking of a 500mb patch and shuders*.

Sounds like its tough to instal. Hopefully by the time I get it everyone will have it all figured out and the whole WP thing will be figured out too.

Today should have been a national holiday to Honour FFXI so that We would have all day to instal and play. :D
how much is the monthly pay up to? it was supposed to be $6.50 a month, and my friend told me today it was brought up to $12.50 a month and i figured i'd ask people who knew ;)
