How do you get lionheart on first disc.

HOw do you get lion heart on first disc ?

As far as I know, it's impossible. Some of the materials needed (like the Energy Crystals) aren't available in this point of the game... and you can't travel to other areas to find the monsters that drop the darned things.

Well ask there? You can't get the energy crystals that early I don't think. May have been a gameshark or something.

Anyways, I think I might play through FFVIII again, haven't in awhile, is it worth it?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think that it's possible to get Energy Crystals from The PocketStations Chocobo World.

You can get Adamantines in disc 1. Just refine Minotaur card.

I dunno about Pulse Ammo though.

yeah the reson i wanna know is because im playing through agian my best character is at lv 40. i wanna get lionheart but i forgot what thread it was in

Only final weapon I've got on Disc 1 myself was Selphie's, and I wasn't even trying for it :p

The earliest i ever got the Lionheart was on disc 2 when i played FFX

It is possible to get it but you have to card mod to get it. what you need to mod I don't know but it can be done

I'm pretty sure if you win a bunch of Elnoyle cards, you can refine them into Energy Crystals (ratio of 1:10, I think). And Energy Crystals can be refined into Pulse Ammo.

It requires you to level up (something I'm against doing, because later on it limits the amount of str vit mag etc pluses you get when you get a cactuar or whatever it is that gives you it). Play the card quest and card mod Elnoyle cards (as said already), fight the T-rex monster thing at level 25+ or something for energy crystals. I have no idea where to get dragon fangs though.

If you don't want to levelup yourself, you can use Tonberry's Lvl Up ability on the T-Rexes.

you can't fight Tonbarries on the first disc only when you become more moblie

No, but you can get 100 blinds from diablos or something (I really have no idea. I know you can get it from an early monster) and beat the T-Rex thing with rediculous ease.

Heres where i got everything, although i dont know if you can get them all in disc 1.
Dragon fangs - Blue dragons
Pulse Ammo - Energy crystals from Ruby Dragons
Adamantine - Minotaur card

Come to think of it, dont you need to get the Weapons Mon First magazine to get the lionheart? Coz if you do then its impossible to get the lionheart in disc 1 (without gameshark, etc).

You don't need the magazine in order to get the Lionheart. As long as you have the right items you can make it. All the magazines do is tell you the items to get. I'm always able to make the Cardinal for Rinoa when I get to FH for the first time, even though the magazine for it doesn't appear untill much later in the game.

I have indeed the most accurate instructions to obtain such a weapon that early. Wait, do you suppose that Squaresoft wanted us to get such an item that early on purpose? Well, anways, here are the instructions.

1. Win 20 Elnoyles.
2. Use Card Mod to refine them into 2 Energy Crystals.
3.Use Ammo-Ref to refine the Energy Crystals into 20 Pulse Ammos. (20 Elnoyles, 20 Pulse Ammos, eh?)
4. Locate a forest near Timber.
5. Search and kill a Grendel for 4 Dragon Fangs.
6. Locate a the beach that rests near Dollet. (World Map)
7. Search and kill an Adamantoise for an Adamantine.
8. The rest is easy: Go to junk shop and get that item.

T-Rexaurs give Dragon Fangs, as do Blue dragons. Squalls best weapon that you can get on Disk 1 is the 2nd best weapon.

how do i refine Minotaur card? i know i need card mod but i don't have it, how do i get it and use it? thanks
