I'm curious.
Yes. He's really not that hard.
That question was the saddest thing i've ever heard... You can beat sephiroth at like level 50.
what do you mean easy? Took me like ten tries to kick his butt :/ I thought it was difficult. Kurt Zisa was pretty hard too.
Plenty of people have, myself included. The trick is having the ability that turns damage into mp, with that you just got to bide your time and get hits in when you can, and heal when you can't.
Yah it really isn't that hard to beat him, because of that stupid little damage into MP trick... The only real thing you have to watch out for is his little halo thingy ma bob, that practically kills you.... Kurt Zisa on the other hand, HE was hard.
Actually, I thought it was the other way around. I beat Kurt Zisa without too much trouble, but I still haven't beaten Sephiroth. He always kills me with by using his attack that takes away all my MP and all but one of my HP and then just running at me and slashing me before I have a chance to use an elixer.
If you hit him before he uses hit he won't do it on you. If you do get hit make sure you have an elixer handy.
Yah, that is the only real move that can knock you out even at level 100... and forget using an elixir, your chances of using one without him striking at you is like 1/10.
When Sephiroth prepares to use Heartless Angel, I always hit him with Strike Raid (or Ars Arcanum). If I connect with it before he casts the spell, the spell will be cancelled. And even if he manages to hit me with Heartless Angel before Strike Raid connects, he'll always counter Strike Raid with a flame barrier. If you're far enough from Sephiroth, it won't hit you, and him casting the flame barrier gives you enough time to use an Elixir.Quote:

The bottom line is, just use Strike Raid. It can stop Heartless Angel attack, and if it doesn't, it will at least buy you some time to recover from it.
Never thought about doing it that way. =D
Heartless angel? As I recall the attack was called Sin Harvest. At least that's what the guide calls it. Kurt Zisa is kinda diffucult if you don't get his timing right. Sephiroth, he was rather easy.
Kurt Zisa I would have beaten with no problem, if not for that fact that I forgot you could glide in the game. :(
I have this feeling that you tried to beat him after not playing the game for a while, non?
I have defeated Sephiroth hundreds of times. I hav killed Kurt Zisa, Phantom, Ice Titan. U name it I have killed it. If when Sephiroth does Heartless Angel, just super glide and then hit him. Simple.
I am level 60.
yeah I love the sword flingning attack thing xD its super addictive. and useful in that fight.
Easy?! He's a pain in the butt to beat!!! o.0
I think the music in the background just throws me off.
*looks around at people giving an odd stare* ...What? Its creepy!
Oh, my, K-chan. You have beaten him berfore, what are you saying? After about the third time he wasn't too diffucult.
*laughs hysterically* ...yeah, says the Sephy fanatic. lolQuote:

Yes, I've kicked his sorry ass. And I liked it :D
You did beat him though.Quote:

I like it. *hums* ... I can't whistle.

Sephiroth is somewhat easily defeatable if you know his attack pattern. If you don't know when he is about to use Sin Harvest, then say goodbye. But my trick to beating him is in the second wave of attacks, when he is running around like crazy and teleporting everywhere. I just focus on keeping the target lock on him at all times and I only hit him when he is about to use Sin Harvest. Superglide is a lifesaver in this situation. All of his other moves are powerful but fall short of the power of the Sin Harvest attack. If you can avoid that you can defeat him with moderate ease. It took me about eight tries to realize what to do, and after that I can beat him every time, no problem.
Yup, he definantly has an pattern to his attacks.
attack, fire-spell thingy, attack, sin-harvest... and so on. :rolleyes2 Not that I wouldn't have it memorised or anything...
I'm not even going to dignify that with a proper response, however, I might hit you with my flute. So there.Quote:

I tried to beat him for the first time while playing KH at the "Innoventions" exhibit at Epcot in Disneyworld. Everybody was mad when I would attack him a lot, and nothing would come off his health bar. I had to inform them that he had an invisible health bar. I got him down 2 bars before realizing that there was no point, so I let him kill me. :)
This is one of those things that'll probably be debated until the end of time. Every source out there says "Sin Harvest". However, in FF7, the attack Sephiroth used that had the same effect was called "Heartless Angel". Apparently what he's saying in KH is "descend, Heartless Angel!". I haven't really ever listened to it carefully, I'm always too busy pressing up then X.Quote:

I usually play him when my parents aren't home so I can turn it up rather loud, and I always hear him say "Sin Harvesting". I guess it is one of those things that will be debated for a couple of millenia though, so oh well.
I call it both. Either way, when trying to beat him today, when I turned on my PS2, it started to get Disc Read Errors for all PS2 games. So poo. I guess I'll have to wait awhile.
I had to get another PS2 because of that. The motors that move the laser-reader stopped functioning.
Oooof....he is a toughie.
But I did beat him. Just remember to target as soon as he teleports, and use Strike Raid when he says Sin Harvest. And use it as continuously as possible when he gets mad (As in meteors, and whatnot.)
Strike raid was okay, but I prefer ars arcanum. I found it to be much more effective.
he was so easy.........
at level 94 that is...
i first played against him the moment i got platinum cup, which was something like level 40....
ya.... i lost...
then i just ignored him for a while and reliazed i had grown 54 levels....
p.s. the moment you hear him say sin harvest use elixir, itll only take effect 3 seconds after or so....
this battle is all about timing...
At level 94 what ISN'T easy?
The panthom is not easy,
regardless of level...
by the time i understtod how to fight him,
i undertood you need tons of mp...
id rather fight sepht than phantom, that is
You need to have lots of mp for Sephiroth too, although pretty much everything is easy at 94, and even easier at 100 :p
It took me quite a few tries to beat sephiroth, I must admit. However once I got his moves down, he got pretty easy with his pattern. Kurt Zisa I didn't find that hard though, I'm pretty sure I beat him my first time. The Phantom was a problem for me though.
I got this same problem right now. I can't play PS1 games, PS2 games, or DVDs... It really sucks :mad2:Quote:

You could just have a dirty lens, but you may also need a new Optical KHS.Quote:

Yeah, call Sony. The number's 1-800-345-7669. They're real nice over there, if you play the 5 bucks for shipping, they'll fix it for free. I'm about to send mine in for the second time, and it's been free both times.
Oh, really. I'll give them a call then. I haven't used my PS2 in a while and I have all these games to play. Thanks.
My warrenty was outdated, so I just had to suck up and buy a new one.
My warranty was outdated too, both times, but they still do it for free.
Really! That'll come in handy.
Ouchies!!! YAY! CY got a new PS2 that doesn't freeze!!!Quote:

Yeahhh... I thought I told you that. In fact, I know I did. Multiple times.
Never used Strike Raid, Ars Arcanum, Ragnarok, Trinity Limit or Sonic Blade. Sephiroth was pretty easy when I found out that he always countered a combo with Fire, and that he disappears after a 4-hit combo. He doesn't get the chance to use Heartless Angel. I hit him and chuckle maliciously.
True. I only used ars arcanum when in got trapped in that firepillar attack.
