So what emotions do you commonly find yourself using when chatting online?

For me it's:

:p sticking tongue out
:rock: rock (at least here)

I use many different icons, mostly I can't show here. But here are some I use a lot here:

I sually use those on forums, although in chats and games and such I use XD quite a bit.

Definitely :p. That's pretty much the only smiley I use anymore. I also use :) and ;) on occasion.

For someone who hates smileys at all, I don't mind if Nicky uses :D or ;_; or if Abby uses >:o~ or :o~ but anything else is awful.

Actually I don't mind the pink face with the little hearts on this board in moderation, and the sad face here is accpetable. The red angry face can be okay in the right circumstances. Effectively all the rest make me want to kill people.

I particularly hate xD and the one I used as the message icon for this post. STOP USING THEM, NICKY.
