I can't believe this crap. No way is any fast food(a burger no less) actually healthy or remotely 'good' for you. Leave it to some wack-job who wants to become noticed.

Compared to the french quiche though which is mentioned in the article, it might be right for all I know :p But yeah, doesn't mean overall out of every food in existence, it's amongst the healthiest :p
No, it just says that a Big Mac is healthier than quiche, which doesn't suprprise me since quiche is mostly bread and cheese.
The only quiche I've had is pastry and egg based :p
Detalis, details. :p
I thought it was cheese. Well either way eating a load of eggs or cheese isn't the best for you. :p
Whoa, whoa. They're taking away supersize drinks and fries. Because, y'no, people can't buy two of the same item. Man, what'm I gonna do? :-(
No way man. Look at the more underlying evil here. First this wack-job says something like this and they Micky-Ds is launching a new healthy food campain and they cut the super sized stuff out....Conclusion. Micky-Ds payed this fool off.
Besides....what is a nutrionalist saying anyways. That fast food is okay to eat? Thats how I see it. Obviously the quichteiao sa or what ever isn't as healthy but no need to go an promote fast food. Promote something that is actually healthy.
On top of that they only compared one Stat and that is a ratio stat. For all we know the big mac could have 400 grams of protien and 300 grams of fat. That doesn't make it healthy either even though the ratio is higher.
A burger weighing close to a kilo would be nice :p
Let's see...they said that there was a good protein to fat ratio without providing any numerical data. A very professional study indeed. [/sarcasm]
heh, just like KFC
No, the article only praises the Big Mac in comparison to a quiche. Anyone who actually think Big Macs are healthy are clearly smoking something.
Thats like saying Saddam Hussain is Jesus compared to Hitler. The comparison just shouldn't be made.
I think we need to read that part of this wack-job's book. Just to see what the hell is wrong with him.
It's like light cigarettes, really.
But if a smoker asked which was healthier, they'd want an answer, not ed bitching about how horridly evil the makers of light cigarettes are.
This is what's in Quiche Lorraine, which is much different than the quiches most people eat nowadays. Besides, they're just comparing the Big Mac as a sandwich, not the entire meal.
LALALALALALALA I AM NOTL ISTENING LALALALALALALALA
A good Quiche Lorraine r0x0rs your b0x0rz. I mean, it's obvious that French food > *, especially McDo's burgers.
Yeah, I won't be eating that garbage anytime soon. *eats a Whopper*
Yams, you're my hero.
CNN? Heh.. ha... AhAheh.... BWAHAHAHAHA--heh...hahh... Does anyone think that is actual news? It's worse than "reality TV" which is far too obviously staged--and having nothing to do with reality. If I wanted propaganda, liad on thick like oatmeal, I'd.. uh.. *thinks of example* I'd watch CNN! *nods* That really is the best example.
Aren't the makers of regular cigarettes MORE evil? Wait... thay are the same makers!Quote:

Does it say anywhere how healthy an ultimate sandwich is?
"Ultimate": Being the last or concluding element of a series. (WordWeb dictionary)
That would make me the last sandwich you'd ever eat. Can't be very healthy--but it'd be worth it.

Anyway, French food is a cruel joke played on the rest of the world.
This thread is making me hungry.
I don't believe "News" anymore.
This isn't right...
