I absolutely adore George Carlin. I think his humor, while it might be below the belt or even controversial, is often spot on. His "7 words" single-handedly changed media and censorship as we all know it.

Izzard is amazing too. He was on Real Time With Bill Maher, and he looked just like Keifer Sutherland. Perhaps, he's grown out of his cross-dressing stage?

Dane Cook, Gabriel Iglesias, Lewis Clark (I think that was his name), and umm others whose names I have long since forgotten. But ya, thier all great.
Jerry Seinfeld. I think most people know what he talks aboot, but he makes comedic observations of everyday things.
