Okay, so I was talkin' with some friends last night, and this one guy came by and wasn't sure what my friend Emily's name actually was. Naturally, he took a blind guess that ended up being wrong, thinking that her name was Ashley. "You look like an Ashley," he said, which brings us to the point of this thread.

Has anyone told you that you could look like a person with a certain name? Just last night, I was told that I could be a Steve, a Martin, a Harold and a Bubba.

I'm usually bad when it comes to guessing names. So I tend to wait till the person's name has been said before I decide to call that person by name. Of if not, I'll probably ask.

Anyway, someone once mistaken me as a Greg one time at work. There was this little girl, and she saw me, and said to her mom. "Hey mom, it's Greg!" while pointing at me.

I, personally, think I would make a good Brandine.

"Hey, Brandine! You could wear these to your job interview!"
"And scuff up the topless dancing runway? Naw. You best bring 'em back where from you got 'em."

People call me names that make no sense.

Some people say that I'm a 'David' rather than a 'Dave', which is odd, since I'm fairly comfortable with either of those.

I've been called Debbie more than once so I guess some people think that I look like a Debbie.

That is interesting though, because my middle name happens to be Edward.

Someone told me I looked like a Sara... and all the Sara's I know are super mean, I was not impressed to say the least. That cab driver still calls me Sara when he sees me and it makes me want to hurt him. xD

And when you consider Sara from Angel Sanctuary and consider her love interests...well...that doesn't help much either. :p

When I was taking net plus at skill center some people say I am the reincarnation of there former C++ Classmate Steve. From what I heard I look like him, have his same hair colour/style, we're both fat, we both had (at the time) a Game Boy advance with a piece of duct tape to hold the battery in place. So they kept calling me Steve!

People say I look like a Malcom... :mad:

I've started to be Geri Hallywell, then I was Kournikivas, the Jennifer Garner (ALias), Quistis and I think that's all!Of course that was my cousin that called me that!

But now I'm Quistis since the FF8 appeard, we saw it on the magazine (Playstation) and my cousin looked at Quistis photo and said, "This is you!", until now I'm Quistis!

But people usually confuse me with a british girl and I'm not!

They look at me and say "You're not portuguiese!" and I say "Yes, I am!"

Someone thought my name was Michelle, and was absolutely convinced that was my name until I showed them my ID. I do not look like a Michelle. I am 100% Logan >:(

My girlfreind said I looked like I Joe before she knew my real name. I honestly think that's the only time anyone said "You look like a [NAME]" to me.

Nobody has ever said I look like any particular name. Nor can I say anyone looks like they'd have a particular name. I just don't get it.

I was mistaken for a Melissa just a few days ago, actually.

I don't know about different names, but I've been asked at least 10 times if I'm Greek. :|
