I have 2 class b wonderful chocobos in my roster. No matter how hard I try they wand seem to give birth to a blue chocobo. They got a green one no trouble with a class B wonderful and a class C good one. What the crap is wrong here?

good + wonderful = green/blue
wonderful + wonderful = yellow (so nothing)
Just mate the good with the wonderful again until you get the color and gender that you need (since the green needs to mate with the blue eventually). It takes time.

Get to Class A.
That chocobo thing is too difficult in FFVII =(
i love chocobo raising in ff7. even if its hard, u cant deny the joy it gives u. contrast it with the lame ffx-2 chocobo's :(
Oh I can deny the joy it gives me. I don't get much joy in resetting a game 30 times in hopes of getting the right sex and color chocobo.Quote:

seriously,i,m very sorry for that, ff7 must hate u for sum reason, perhaps for liking ff6 more? lol
Following the Chocobo Sage's advice doesn't guarantee the right color/sex chocobo. i.e if I have a green male and need a blue female I always have to reset the game 20-30 times before I get the right color/sex combination that I need. Same for any of my friends when they play. I've never heard of anyone getting the right colors and sexes the first time they breed when they play.
3 times i,ve done it first time. i normally just have a good male and great female 4 the first colour, and alternate the genders 4 the other colour. i also change to other locations 4 the second ones parents.
i also ensure they have raced alot and have reached class S before breeding. if u do the same then i must e the luckiest ff7 player ever.
You must be the luckiest FFVI player ever because I've never met anyone that has been able to do all of htat on the first try every time. I always get colored chocobos, they just happen to be the wrong color or sex for mating for the black chocobo so I have to reset the machine several times.
lol, watch it start to not happen first time on my nxt play. i,ve been well and truely jinked. :D
*jinxes*
:p
I found it relatively easy in doing the whole Chocobo raising. I happened to catch the correct Chocobos in a fairly short time. When mating, the randomness decided to be in my favour, so I was pleased. The most amount of times I had to reset to get the right combinations probably was only seven or eight. Isn't randomness great?
I suppose the next time I do it, though, I will have to reset countless times, and catch Chocobo after Chocobo. Things can't always be easy.
aeris isint the olney luckey one i get most on the frist try. the part i hate catch them. :D
i've tried many many times and i've never gotten a different color chocobo..... that's cuz i guess i was breeding 2 S class wonderful chocobo's...... hehehhe this thread has really helped me! NOW I KNOW THE TRUTH!!!
MUWAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAAHAHHA!! ON TO PLAY MORE FF7!!!
Good + Great = Green (or Blue, I can't remember)
Great + Good = Blue (or Green, I can't remember)
Every time I've switch which one I talk to first, I've been able to get different results.
I don't think the chocobo you speak to first has any bearing. I tried that and still had to do the breeding thing about 30 times before I got a green male to go with my blue female. I tried changing which one I talk to first, but the result is random anyway. It sucks 'cause the odds of getting the chocobo you need would SEEM to be 1 in 4. I think maybe Square just hates me.
that choud be it ;)
Alright then, maybe it was...Quote:

Either way, I always had different results between Good and Great.
nope, that must just be random, its
good or great + good or great = blue or green
honest...
I think this is called for.
well thats funny
Stupid chocobos...
VG Cats is the only time furries are okay. That's how funny it is.
I went to the choco farm and said 'Wargh' and the chocobos started dancing and I though 'What the hell does the man give them for food? Ectasy or Wine?'. I have one chocobo he ran away... it's horrible to catch one!
First off, I assume by that combination that the sexes are switched. Secondly, you can get both green and blue from either combination.Quote:

How Many Gold Chocobos you can have, Is there any method to achieve 8 Gold chocobos ?
I do agree that they are annoying, but, it is very awarding when you get a gold chocobo.
Well, then the game must just like me, because that's how I always do it, and once I've gotten one color, I only get the other when I switch on which one I talk to (the gender of the newborn still seems random...against me...).Quote:

I just recently did the breeding part (up to Blue/Green, anyway), and I found an easy way to do this. Breed the "good" and "great" to get one of the colors they could potentially give you (Blue or Green). Then, if you got Blue, breed that with the "good," but if you got Green, breed it witht he "great." I did that, and it worked just fine. Obviously, the genders have to opposite to breed them, so make sure they are (save before breeding, then quick reset (L1+L2+R1+R2+START+SELECT), if necessary, to get the gender you need).
