Ok, whats YOUR way of being able to tell its summer? And I don't mean the obvious stuff like "Uhh...when it says 'summer' on the calendar" or "when school lets out"! ^_^ I'll get it started!
I know its summer when my dog starts chewing on my leg because it smells like coconut sun block.Yummers! The scary thing is, I'm not lying about that. 0.o

I finished my first year of university last week, and yet that doesn't mean the begining of summer for me. I would have to say that the begining of summer happens when I go to the first bush party of the season.

Or... when it's like 90 degrees out side and the bees are out and everyone is like "oh no, a bee! Don't let it sting me!" :p

When I start griping about the sun being to bright
When it can get to hot and dry in one minute and about 5 minutes later it gets rainiy.

That's when it's summer.
When the temperature jumps about 20 degrees in a matter of two or three days and stays that way for a few months.
when i start getting hay fever (got it sorted with nice tablets muhahahah) :P
1. I clean out my binders
2. I stress about finals
3. My dad complains "IT'S HOT" all freaking day
4. I leave the windows open all day and the house has a nice fresh smell ;D
5. Girls at my school are practically naked

I know it's summer in the Northern Hemisphere because I can't sleep because despite having four or five blankets, a heater going, and wearing long socks/trousers/shirt/singlet/skivvy/jersey/sweatshirt/gloves/hat, I CAN'T SLEEP BECAUSE IT IS SO VERY VERY VERY COLD!

when the temp in my house changes from 80 to 50, and the outside temp changes from 30 to 100
and the sky turns a pretty green shade, and the clouds get all funnel shaped...
it also tends to get a bit on the windy side in the summer...
When girls wear extremely short skirts that you stare at, waiting for a strong gust of wind to blow them up around their waist.
And when guys wear short swim trunks that are drenched in water and their hair is wet and clinging to their heads and I want to run my fingers through it! *melts* I love hot guys in summertime.
As for staring at skirts, why? Wouldn't that just make you look perverted? I mean, what if they were to see you staring at their skirts? What would you do?

That's they you don't let them catch you. And if they did, I doubt they would do any of those things. I certainly wouldn't jump with surprise or shame.
And it's not odd to find a guy that thinks with his penis. Just about every guy I know does.
They do those things here. I see it all the time.

after that I either get talking to the girl in question or she walks of but bear in mind I have never once been slapped by a girl for this and they generally appreciate my boldness to remain calm and immediately trying to get to know them.

see if a girl can take being gawked at as a compliment (which really in my humblest of opinions it is really...I mean to be thought attractive enough to render men senseless gotta love that idea) then why bother trying to hide it if your caught just control the situation you'll only get slapped 40% of the time :D
