Hahaha, little brat got what was coming to him.
such a mean dad/kid
Shows you shouldn't leave alcohol/games consoles where family members can find them.
But that father is obviously crazy. He's claiming his son likes to "play" with "stiff" "bugle" "joints". Can we have him locked away? Can we have the son locked away too, just for going ice skating or whatever nonsense it was he was doing?

lol but why? 100 odd bucks for no reason :x
That little sonofabitch deserves everything he gets.
I should bid for that PS2 myself, just to spite the brat.
lolz that's what I was thinking!Quote:

That's great, he deserved it.
Hilarious.
They let a 13-yr-old drink? Bad parenting.
But he got wht he deserved.
HA! That's great. Good for the dad.
Where in that story did he say he condoned his son's drinking? Part of the reason he took away his PS2 is BECAUSE he was drinking. Bad parenting my ass. If anything, this is an example of good parenting.Quote:

Geez, what a mean dad. Taking away the kid's PS2 won't fix his drinking problems. It'll probably just give him more time to drink.
That's awesome. What a cool dad :)
Son cost Father-----------$177
Father recieved for PS2----$122.50
Son still owes--------------$54.5
Son gets job a mcdonalds!
The time he spends working at MD is time he can't be using for drinking
Thats all -Tastey :eyebrow:
This topic is on every forum I go to...Pretty funny, Probobly the only 13 year old that knows what a bottle of "Don" tastes like.
>>> Bye bye PS2. how tragic
I have that exact red controler. Neat.
It makes too much noise when it rumbles, so I don't use it
And that all was probably crap, to give a reason for selling other than "I don't like it, so why should you?" and to drive the price up to the $177 he wanted for it. Silly people. =o
And it has an RF adaptor, how cute.
i know these two guys who bought a PlaySation 2 back when they cost 300 bucks. The plan was to trade it back and forth regularly; one had paid considerably more of the system's cost, and the other was going to buy the bulk of the games. The latter guy - heretofore "Guy B" - has a mom whose self-control often rivals that of your average starved hyena, and by far her favorite prey is her own aforementioned son. One day, she decided she didn't like that her boy spent so much time on his video games, and - jumping to an unfortunate conclusion - didn't appreciate that he'd gone and bought this system with his own money. So she smashed it to bits with a hammer.
Unfortunately, guy A, primary owner of the system, was not eighteen at the time and as such could not sue for destruction of property.
i'd agree that these parents made a wise decision selling the PS2. It's good to see that there are still folks who aren't afraid to play the consequence game with kids, because it's the only realistic way to teach responsibility.
Smashing things is immature.
EDIT: And hey, if it was all just hot air, then these folks are smart businessmen. i can't knock that.
RF adaptors are better than the standard one that it comes with. You can use it with ALL types of tvs not just high definition ect.Quote:

As far as i can tell, the child's mother set up this auction. It's interesting that so many people have assumed otherwise.
quiet you
Drama queens :rolleyes2 My dad did that with me several times, each with a different console.
That's great. I don't have any sympathy for the kid. He did some stupid stuff. He got what was coming to him. Sucker.
The auction has ended, and the PS2 has been posted.
I can almost hear the child weeping as I type this sentence.
RF adaptors make cable fuzzy. And I thought the last TV without a/v inputs was our family one and broke last winter. :eek:Quote:
