Which FF has the best Chocobo jams in your opinion?
I think VII (7) did. The Chocobo racing anyway...it always makes me think "Hillbillys from Space" for some reason. :p
Oh and from what I know Chocobos weren't around in I, II, and III. And I didn't include X-2 because they left out chocobo music (as well as victory fanfare...heathens :mad2: ). Someone feel free to correct me if I am wrong about that.
V's 'Mambo de Chocobo' is probably my favourite.

I'm a sucker for techno chocobo beats. Therefore my vote goes to FF8

I definetly agree, FFXI really is better than most of the other ones save maybe FFIV in the forest...the FFXI one was pleasant sounding and had a small lively beat to it...and sounds great...x-x its not on how could you!? ;-; *voes FFIV*
IX was very folkish. I liked it.
I liked VIII's the best. The guitar is cool.
What is FFXI's Chocobo theme like? I have the soundtrack, but it's not there!
FFXI's chocobo theme is...unique...
FFX-2's (I liked it, leave me alone). But of the list, FFVIII's.

Does Vamo Alla Flamenco count as a Chocobo Theme? If yes, IX's themes are my favourite. Otherwise, the one from VI.
The worst ones I've heard are X-2's and X's. X-2 is an evil twisted version that sounds horrible. X is the result of a lack of new ideas.
That, and FFVI's Grand Finale's Milan De Chocobo. So...forgetable.
I liked FF9.
Never felt compelled to play FFIX. FFVII (as far as I remember) had more chocobo-stuff than any other FF, with it's chocobo racing and breeding and whatnot, and for this reason the chocobo theme is the most chocobo of the lot. It might not be the best tune - I don't even remember some of the others - but it's definitely the most chocobo-ish one of the lot. So many variations yet all with the same boppy feel to them. Lovely stuff. God I love chocobos.
Actually, I would say that the amount of chocobo stuff in FFIX is at least sub-par with FFVII, if it doesn't surpass it. And in FFIX, you can get a chocobo that can fly. For that reason alone you should play it. :DQuote:

Mods de chocobo from FFVIII is the best. The second best would be electric de chocobo from VII.
Final Fantasy II (Origins) has a great Chocobo Theme.
