Over two months since we had such a thread? For shame. Here are two of mine.
How to take a screenshot of your desktop: In Windows, press the PrintScreen key on your keyboard, open up a graphics program of any sort, paste from the clipboard (CTRL+V), and save the file as a jpeg or png. In Linux, use the Gimp, or scrot, or import, etc. etc. In OSX, I don't know.

I just realized how old and stupid mine is! Ill got to change it but here it is.

Just got this comp today :love: so here's the first desktop I've put on it.
I keep the Start Menu at the top, and hidden...unlike most people who keep the Start Menu on the bottom and not hidden.
My desktop is pretty.
Mine just has fluffy clouds. Dingo, do you have a folder titled "EoFF Porn" on your desktop?

I changed my desktop to something much nicer only a few short minutes ago.
The wallpaper is called "Let there be peace". *attaches*
I have been doing alot of switching around lately because of family reasons, this is the current one.
I donated my old desktop to Kero so I've posted a pic of both my old and new one :D

This is a good one. The bird is from www.ninjai.com - the animated series.
nik, just copy into Photoshop, save as JPEG, and lower image quality to 10-11. Should be around ~450K with a 1024x768 image.

A little more cluttered than before due to the larger screen resolution, which allows me to be more messy. :D

Most of it's custimizable, if you know what you're doing. The fonts can be changed... the icons can be faded or put to their normal colors. The sizes of things can be altered and type can be added here and there.Quote:

Some of the tray icons don't pop up correctly... Winamp5 doesn't work correctly with the shell... You used to have to refresh the shell every so often (but I think it was fixed)... Just minor stuff like that.
Nothing major really.
I'm using the Windows Longhort theme and a dragon as a wallpaper.

I wish people wouldn't say their desktop is the best, its a known fact that Unne kicks everyones arse on that front and no-one could ever beat him without 5 years experiance at Linux so please stop arguing about it because your posts are seen to be meaningless, thanks guys :D
