If cloud and squall were to fight each other who would win?
Cloud, hands down!
Cloud, all the way. Easiest question i have ever had to answer.
Cloud has much stronger weapons magic and he has much cooler hair, so he basicly has to win.
hmm,tough question.But i believe cloud would finally win.
AND A BIG SWORD! You can't forget that

Squall would win because he has a gunblade and he could shoot cloud from far away.
Thats not how the gun blade works, when in the history of FFVIII did squall shoot someone from afar? ALSO! cloud would just summon for a ranged attack but that isnt much fun now is it?
squall has a big sword too. clouds and squalls swords might be the same size so it is possible squall could win.
I know there is a tiny tiny chance of squall winning but when you post this question in a FFVII forum, Cloud wins.
squall would own cloud cause since there are 4 disks in ff8 and 3 disks in ff7 that means squall was in more fights than cloud so the winner would be squall.
Squall's sword can shoot bullets while Clouds can shoot... nothing. Well Cloud does have an edge because as Tifa cheers for him she'll jump up and down causing the giant hypno boob effect which would destract Squall.
God bless the hypno boob. Who ever had Tifa in thier party anyway?
Two warriors stand on a feild, One holding a blade with a revolver cylinder, the other has a sword larger than him, they run at each other and The hellow haired one impales the other warrior, thus cloud wins
well physically they would be evenly matched at max stats. it could go either way.
Cloud would have much better abilities avaliable from his Matetria (like final attack+phoenix). however Squall could cover damage with GF or use heros.
however Cloud is cooler, hence, he wins :D

Heres the battle...
Squall calls GF Bahaumet.
Cloud summons Bahaumet Zero.
Nothing happens as the two summons stare at eachother.
Both Bahaumets kill their summoners and go off to play cool games, like Final Fantasy 6 and Mechwarrior 2.

if there was a hypno boob cloud would also be hypnotised.
cloud would win,but he would have to make sure that squall didnt have his limit break because lionheart does 100,000+ so cloud would just enter the battle with his limit full and use omnislash to kill him
squall would make sure he would get the limit break then he would cut cloud in to pieces

Cloud's first years mark him as a failure SOLDIER and downgraded to regular army grunt. Not good. But after Niebelheim he HAS gotten some serious MAKO treatment which could have made him stronger and faster. Also, as a fighter he is able enough to get through a MAKO reactor.
Then there is Squall: He has passed. In fact, he is menioned to be a rathe rbrilliant stiudent. OTOH, unlike Cloud he is purely unmeddled human with only the GF's to boost him. (and GF's are countered by Materia)
So it'd be strength VS skill, with Cloud having the strength (and probably speed and stamina) of his mako enhancements, while Squall has ACTUALLY passed elite military training (as opposed to Cloud, who is just under the illusion that he passed them) Ipersonally think I'll have to go with Cloud on a one-on-one duel. If you ask me who would win in an actual war zone with people under his command, Squall takes the gold. A total antisocial ass he may be on occasions, but Squall has shown the ability to lead large number of troops, while Cloud relies on immediate violence with the occasional undercover mission.
Squall duh!!!! But wasn't it great if both die!? :D ;)
Cloud and Squall are fighting, Squall starts to get the upper hand, Sephiroth gets pissed off at both of them and impales them both. Cloud wins, he's survived that before :lol:.
Seriously though, Cloud is pretty tough, he survived being in the Lifestream. However, Squall is also strong, as he survived travelling through time itself. I think the end would heavily revolve on pure luck. Both are good, and both use my favorite kind of weapon (sword), but Squall also uses the kind of weapon I disaprove of (gun). So, for that one reason, Cloud gets my vote. Otherwise, I wouldn't have voted.
The sprites from FF1 survived time travel, its not that hard to survivie, and they fought a man that they killed in the future whilst slipping the time stream.Quote:

Squall is one of the biggest pansies of all the FFs. Cloud, though also a bit of a pansy himself, would tear him apart. It appears that main characters get more wimpy as the FFs go along.Quote:

I think Cloud would win all the way. He has got more speed he is more powerful and not even the great Sephiroth could win so its a no contest. :p
