I want to know if anyone has got 255 on all stats on Final Fantasy 10. It almost seems frickin impossible. I have almost all spheres filled up and it just doesn't seem possible. :confused:

Who is the loser that told you 255 was the limit?
By changing crapy spheres into good ones and completing the sphere grid, Im at 500 something strength
Delete crapy things that add 1 or 2 to stats and replace them with spheres that add 4
You can go around the Sphere Grid and replace all <+4 stat nodes with +4 stat nodes. Then you can fill all the empty nodes. If you do it correctly, you can max out everyone's non HP and MP stats and have about 50,000ish HP per character (and you'll have over 999MP with just going over the unaltered sphere grid, which is more than enough). Then when you go into battle use a Stamina Tablet (or whatever doubles your HP) and you have max stats. Takes a while to do though, especially if you are wanting to max out Luck.
Do the stats display 500? Really... I can't go over 255. :mad:Quote:

u will not being doing 99999 per hit even at 255 str to the hardest enemies like dark aeons, nemesis and penance unless u have celestial weapons.
and what tastey pies means is u can go past 255 but the firgue still remains at 255. u can continue 2 activate nodes for a stat at 255 and the stat will continue 2 grow.
anyway, yes its possible to get all the stats 2 read 255 though u cant get anywhere near 99999 hp and 9999 mp if u do this. though 2 be honest the only stat that is hard 2 get 255 for is luck because it takes a long time, though u only really need 120 luck to beat all the bossess.

Greater Spheres def really sux and he's pretty slow. 1) Summon Anima. 2) Have Anima cast haste on himself. thats a cool one and i think my Anima is about that hard. i normally do a thing with Wakka's attack reels 2 beat him but its slightly longer.
would u say Greater Sphere is good enough 2 b a top twenty super boss? i mean he is potentially harder then Nemesis if u dont know what your doing.
Maybe... Hydro press is very powerfull and Greater sphere counter all overdrives with it... and since he counters all normal attacks with Ultima...Quote:

yeah i remember pulling my hair out with him. however i,d say once u reach fantastic stats only the Dark Aeons, Nemesis, Penance and Greater Sphere r any real threat in FFX.
and if u count the other FF games, the only big threats at fantastic level/stats r (SPOILER) Omega and Shinryu(ffV), Emerald, Ruby (ffVII), Ultima Weapon(ffVIII) and Ozma(ffIX)
so Greater Sphere really stands out 2 be in such a list ( this means hes Harder then the (SPOILER)ant from ffVIII Omega) :D

Yea, I was like level 38-40 as well. Each character had about 40% of the jobs mastered.

You can modify the sphere grid at any time throughout the game as long as you have the spheres. You can do extra stuff right up until you enter the Tower of the Dead. Once you enter the Tower of the Dead there are no more save spheres so the game will just continue on to the final battle and ending.
I once completely redid the entire Shpere Grid to get all my stats to 255, then put enough HP and MP Spheres to get said stats at around 40,000+ and 4000+.
'Course, I sharked to get the necessary items and Sphere Levels (to move around), but it took over three or four hours to remake it and activate all nodes (I just kept using Master Spheres). Tidus is the only one who actually traveled the entire grid, the others just moved to the center :lol:.
That file is my cheat file, and I have a separate one for non-cheating.
why do you need luck anyway, i had 4 luck on everybody and i have beaten every boss in the game ( including penance)

Seriously? When I had less than 80Luck 40% of my attacks missed when figthing Penance. Even with 255 acurracy. You can't have had 4! ...Or maybe you had 500 accuracy?lolQuote:

High luck also means that it's a lot easier for the enemy to miss hitting you.
but if your other stats are high then it is not that much of a loss...well it was not for me :D
ok i have 2 try this Aim stuff cause i,ve never heard of penance being beaten with a luck stat below 118.
I did it. But capturing 5 of every monster, winning +4 spheres and getting all those levels took me forever. But I killed Yu Yevon in one hit. xD
I find impossible to believe that. Beating Dark Yojimbo without luck being 100 is impossible unless you cheat. None of your attacks hit him until your luck reaches 68. That's the fact. I you don't beat him, there is no Penance, period.Quote:

Well, I killed Dark Yojimbo with my Bahamut... who used magic. So that IS possible. :D ...Oh, yea... I guess you can kill Penance with magic to... but maxing the magic stats to 255 just takes to much time.(stupid jumbo flan!)Quote:

I think it IS possible (there I go again :rolleyes2 ). 255magic, (or why not 500? lol) + that magic turbo thing that boost magic cost AND dammage... and then if you double cast Ultima with all that... with all your characters... then it should be possible... since Ultima hits all the targets. With double cast and 255+ turbo I actually think Ultima could do something like 180,000 to the arms (but much less to Penance himself) also, double cast Ultima cooldown is not as slow as Ultima cooldown... so it should work. :DQuote:

you really don't need luck to beat dark yojimbo, its just as easy, but you have to aim 5 times or so, then you can finally hit him....
