The United Nations of Atlantica

Our Country Atlantica is a democratic republic consisting of several islands, Nauticus, Hermes, Neko and Loki which for several years were warring factions. However during the age of creation several members of each governing body realised the need for peace and created the democratic nation of Atlantica. Government Our government consists of two parliaments, the Democratic Parliament of Union Decisions which deals with all matters relating to our country and the Atlantican Central Amphoria Parliament. These two independent bodies communicate via the Central Parliamentary Body UCAB (United Central Atlantican Body) The DPUD (Democratic Parliament of Union Decisions) consists of 3 democratically chosen members from each island (a total of 12 equalling the number of stars on the flag) and the ACAP (Atlantican Central Amphoria Parliament) consists of 2 representives from each island, a minister for war and a foreign secretary. Both the DPUD and ACAP meet up in the UCAB 4 times a year with a governmental secretary which is picked via a national vote. Our Flag A Map of our Fair Nation I'd like to thank Nait for making the map outline :D The Isle of Neko The center of all political and trade for the entire nature, the Island of Neko is a hub of activity and encompases the nations capital Amphoria as well. The Isle of Loki This island contains some of the most vicious armies and people of the whole of Atlantica, they only agreed to the unionised nation for the fact that they were nearly beat and cause much discord in the harmonised parlerment. The Isle of Natuicus The largest island in the nation and also the most agricultural. This island may seem backwards now but with planned test sites and much new boat testing in its large bays it could soon become the technological hub and bring forward the nation in leaps and bounds. The Isle of Hermes The main production and training center of the island with the nations army and navy currently based here, Hermes is otherwise a very desolate island. Diplomatic Channels The agreements state that during times of peace free trade and mutual cooperation will be made between Atlantica and the agreed states However Atlantica still reserves the right to refuse entry to any person(s) that attempt to enter its state if it feels their journey is unjustified. Also if it does not feel that any action will not benifit the nation of Atlantica it will also publically refuse to join in with that action. This agreement is called an 'mutual peace agreement'. We have to build a railway between Amphoria and Norse, once we've done that the Eizon Overseers will take a train ride on it as the grand openning and thats your cue to drive the train off the tracks :D

Yeah, as I recall Dover runs a ferry in or out every 15 minites or so. It's been over 2 years since I've lived in England though, so things may have changed.

We do need to set up a ferry system though, don't we. That might be preferable to swimming to each island.

yeah, and the current system of canoes isn't working out to well either due to kinds thinking its funny to drill holes in them :D

Yeah, I've rather found that boats that have holes don't float well.
Are we given the technology to build ferries though? That's kinda like a good deal of reasearch, unless it's flat wooden sail ferries.

I suppose if we have trains we must have some kind of ferries but who knows, BoB and Proto are crazy...

If I remember correctly Amphoria is a port city and Norse is inland.

Therefore I would probably build rain tracks between Norse and the fort and also establish a town along the east cost near Amphoria (on the isle of Loki) and link the town and Amphoria by ferry. While the town and Norse are linked by rail route.

So are we currently going to leave Hermes and Nauticus alone for now?

At the moment Proto and BoB won't let me have any more cities unless I get more members or something however planning for them might be a good idea now I think about it. We'd probably want 2 cities and many towns in Nauticus and leave Hermes with just a town I think.

I kno there is a BIG map in a thread... but my comp is Homersexual and wont let me copy it...

My best friend deserted me and joined another country... but I'll try and recruit some people. How many people do we have anyways? It's a start, I suppose. We could at least get a ferry running from Loki to Neko. That's the least we can do. That might help us get bricks from one area to another quicker.

I should be able to make the inside of the city pretty similar if you send me the chipsets you used. Can't do much about the world map shot, though, as I use a different chipset and don't intend on changing.

there isnt any game story as such its just amphoria, norse, and the atlantican fort in rm2k3, I used ToP and Suikoden style chipsets, with the custom styled mack and bluw charsets.

It has not been unattended for a month, some of us have alot to do and this isn't always high on our list.
