Game you like replaying the most

Which games do you like replaying the most. Which game do you seem to get the least bored with even after already beating it.

Though I don't replay games nearly as much anymore. If I had to pick one though it would probably be xenogears. Mainly because it is so story based that it is fun to go back and play it after 6 months to a year or so after pieces of the story have begun to slip your mind again and to go back and piece them back together.

And which games have you tried to go back and play a second time after beating it once and just couldn't make it through a second time through before getting to bored to play any longer.

My main one on that topic would be ff8. The characters just aren't interesting enough.

I have replayed most of my games at least once. I like replaying the FF games from time to time again.

Final Fantasy VIII
Any of the Dynasty Warrior games

Those are the main ones. However I usually replay a bit of everything, as soon as I get that feeling of nostalgia.

Lunar: SSS. The Saturn one. It just had this... charm to it. With the amount of times I rented a Saturn to play that game alone, I could've bought the system ten times over...

I can't help it, I always go back to Final Fantasy VII.
I finish the game least 5-10 times every year.

All of those are very addictive games (to me).

FFV-IX

Devil May Cry and Metroid Prime.

I can get DMC down to a couple of hours to complete and Prime I can get down to about four hours, using some nice sequence breaking. I know it's nothing compared to some people can play it in an hour or so.

So yes, I can play those several times in just one day.

I use to replay FFs a lot, sometimes Suikodens, Star Ocean SS, BoFs.
The games I can't replay are Baldur's Gates and Dragon Warriors, too boring.

Golden sun 1(I'm not sure why I haven't played 2 through a second time.)

Megaman 3 is the game that has the most replay value to me. A few months ago I used to play through it several times a day. I would also turn the game on at random times and just pick off a boss for the hell of it, then reset and either redo the stage I just did or do a different one altogether.

I find myself replaying EarthBound every year as well. That game has great replay value. As does Secret of Evermore, which I try to replay every Christmas. I always try to see how high I can get before going to Bugmuck in Evermore. I believe my life record is level 12, which still isn't too high. I even purchased the Amulet of Annihilation from the Mad Monk in Corsair once. I must have beaten on that one monk to the left of the city over 200 times to get enough money for that. Good times.

I can replay any FF other than IX and X-2 because they both suck too much.

Any Resi because they're all awesome.

Vampire Night. An excellent lightgun game, and one I've played through an infinate number of times.


I could never redo Burnout 2 because some of the stuff I had to do to complete that game was so ludicrously difficult I could never bring myself to delete the data and start again. Just the thought of doing that makes me shudder with fear *shudder*

The Megaman games, FFVI and VII, Chrono Trigger, and The Legend of Zelda are the ones I have replayed the most.

chaos: I think Xenosaga has the most replay value. I never understood everything in the story 'till my second time playing.

Rubedo: The storyline is way too perplexing to understand the first time anyways. I never knew too much about Wilheim being the leader of Vector Industries 'till I replayed that game.

Usually games where you can do things creatively and the simple elements are fun.

I went through Enter The Matrix in bits and pieces a lot, same with Spider-Man. FFVIII is usually the only FF I'll play without aiming to finish because messing about in the menu is fun. Though I played FFVII a LOT.

The GTA games and Spider-Man 2 I played a lot after getting to the final missions, but that's not really replaying. Still playing Spider-Man 2, man that game has a lot to do...

FFVII and IX, those two just never seem to bore me... And i would like to start Wind Waker again but i dont have it anymore... blargh

Toejam and Earl: Panic on Funkotron because it's just so FUN.

Any of the Final Fantasy games, Fable, Xenosaga Ep. I, Warcraft III and Warcraft III: Frozen Throne, Knights of the Old Republic, Legend of Zelda: OoT. There's some others, but those had the best replay value for me.

I've never played any game more than twice. I feel lame.

But the ones I have played twice....FFVIII, Silent Hill 2....yeah, that's pretty much it. :shame: I've tried to play The Legend of Dragoon 3 times now, if that counts for anything.

Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars

Chrono Trigger, I finished it, start to finish at least 7 or 8 times. But I'm after beating Lavos, to get all the endings, like 30 times. =-o

xenogears by far. what game can match xenogears storywise? its just totally awesome. i'd say its better than FFvii anytime... but its all a matter of opinion
