It seems that terrorists want to attack our beloved internet. If this is true (which I'm sure it isn't), tomorrow could be a scary day.

Fanatics can say whatever they want, but whether or not they do it, we'll see.
For one, there is no "internet", as such, since it's lots and lots of servers and lots of and lots of ISPs, it'd have to be very well organised to paralyse the ENTIRE internet. You'd need a few million computers to do that many Denial of Service attacks or the like, considering how many you need just to paralyse a few PCs.
And then there's the fact of how much terrorists rely on the internet for communication, I mean, what better way for anonyimity than email, really?
So nobody would do anything as crazy as that considering how hard it is to do, and how much they rely on the internet as a whole.
Well, that's a good cure to my internet addiction... Thanks, terrorism!

Well you can all know it's not gonna happen. It is August the 26th here in Australia and no sign of it not working, The internets been on here for about 6 hours, and nothing happened. There's been no news reports on it, nothing, so I can safely say it's all alright :)

Oh my God! I think my neighbors are engaging in what appears to be bass-kit-bol... Weird... I was playing an RPG on a forum site and all the players' computers went down or got messed up...
Game spread virus Starlight angel. Same thing happened to Dark Age of Camelot. Coarse it was taken care of very soon.
So their going to fly digital planes into AOL, Earthlink, Adelphia, ATT, and Microsoft?
