EoFF Decathlon ROUNDS NINE AND TEN!

Alright, there's an extreme lack of something fun, and I'm the master when it comes to fun (actually, I'm not, but the ego is fun to inflate xD) and we haven't had these Decathons in awhile. Basically, if you have been around when Red Wizard has been doing these, it's basically you taking part in a small decathon-like tournament where you have to do whatever for points, and the person with the most points overall wins. Though, I think three rounds, I may up it to ten, seeing that, unlike Red Wizard, I'm usually around to get things done as quickly as possible. :p

So, um... who's game? I think I'll make it up to twelve contestants, maybe more if more signed up by Saturday night. :)

That's a triathlon. :p A decathlon is a competition involving ten athletic events, like high jump, 100m, etc.

Well, there are twelve already...I would do it though. :p

I think with the Decathlon you do need to keep it fairly long-lengthed, giving at least three to four full days for each event as some people aren't able to be online everyday, let alone complete the tasks. Just a thought. Not everyone is around to get things done as quickly as you or I. :)

I used Photoshop, but you can also use Paint or print out the picture that you want, write in your text and scan it.

Well, first, you'll need a program, such as MS Paint, or Photoshop. If you don't have anything like that, pick one of the images, One, Two, Three, Four, or Five, send me a PM with the speech in the order of bubbles, and I can do your entry for you.

In case you're not familiar with Penny Arcade, the two main characters are Gabe and Tycho. Gabe is the dude with the black hair, yellow shirt with the black shadow of pac-man. Tycho is the other dude. As for the other characters, just label them as "Girl," and "Thing." The last stip features characters from the X-men, Wolverine, Storm, and Iceman.

I have MS pain but when I try to add text it incredibly large and after a few words it has englufled the picture.

And I was just going to give them random names based on what they looked like. (ie, Mall Santa, Troubled Teen) would that be ok?

Ahh, whichever you see is fit and just. I myself don't care, and wouldn't mind if this took longer. "Decathlon" should last kinda long. But if the pace seems 'too fast', maybe screw the "10 events policy" and add some more.

Round 2

Write a limerick of a game
Not everyone's will be the same
Don't make it too wild
And use your own style
This is round two, so don't be lame

That's right! You'll be making a limerick about a game of your choice. First off, a limerick is a short poem of five lines. Lines 1, 2, and 5 are usually eight syllables each, and the last word each rhym with each other. Lines 3 and 4 are five syllables and have a seperate rhyme. Use the 'sample' limerick as guide.

Be sure to vote for Round One if you haven't, and contestants, prepare for Round 2. Send me your entries in PM this time. =)

P.S. And honestly, no offence, but in my opinion the script L was the lamest. Kinda like some 4th grader would've done some serious effort about it and laughed at himself, being proud of himself thinking it's funny, while nothing funny about it.

Well I would like to say that Agent Proto didn't explain how to write a limerick enough. Not only do you have to have lines 1,2 and 5 rhythm as well as lines 3 and 4 but, you also have to have the same number of syllables and those syllables must follow the same pattern of "da dum da da dum da da dum da da dum" The da is an unstressed syllable and the dum is a stressed syllable.

Watch out NOW!

It sounds hard but as long as each lines has the same type of beat movement as the other ones then you probably did "da dum da da dum" with out even knowing it. Just one of those things I know.

I have not started yet but I plan to get it in soonish?

No, I came second behind BoB. And the Newbies only won BECAUSE BoB won. The Pirate party got 4 winners, Newbies only 2. (The others going to BAoTW (2), Con (1) and Mystery (1) Parties, if I recall). So we finished second.

EDIT: Also if Lev had've voted, we'd have completely OWNED the elections, I'd just like to say. Really, it was that close.

And yeah, I forgot about this. I haven't won yet, if at all. If it was a uniathlon, I'd have won! You can quote me as saying that when I lose :D
