:D You ought to get the free ad blocking plugin for firefox.
Google uses frames or iframes for their ads. They could put a whole website in there if they wanted.
The solution here is don't use Internet Explorer. I know the original poster didn't even post a screenshot from IE, but that's a solution to life in general, not just this problem.
Nothing I can do about it. Sorry.
And in my opinion, disabling google ads is really unfair to websites. It is what pays for our hosting, and it's incredibly non-invasive. I can understand blocking popups, but the more and more things like google ads get blocked, the less and less websites are going to be sucessful. Just my opinion though... I know, I know, you weren't ever going to click anyway.
It's not like it was a problem or anythin I just thought it was strange/funny it did that. And I have clicked them even if it was just out of boredum :D
