think it was turrican
First game I ever played was on an Atari system. Or at least I think it was an Atari system. You had to jump over bus'es on a moter bike. Don't have a clue what it was called though as it was back in the mid eightys when I was just a nipper. :D
Super Mario Bros.
Duh.
The first video game I ever played was in kindergarten on a commedore 64 - Frogger.
Maybe Oregan Trail... We were forced to play it in school. But I've been playing Final Fantasy since NES time so I'm not quite sure. Too far back in the memory.
Oregan Trail kicked ass though.
Oscar on the Amiga 1200. Now THAT was a game and a half.
You played as this weird hamster thing who was in a cinema and went to various movie themed levels such as comedy, western, horror even WAR (And that was in black and white!) and you had to hit things with a yo-yo and collect Oscars and when you got them they'd say "Thanks everybody!" but I thought they were thanking people for finding them, rather than for winning them. I was only 6 or so, so yeah. :p
The Legand of Zelda.

Omg hard. Umm.. something on the C64..or probably some computer my brother had even before that. Buggy Boy was one of the first <3
I think mine was Q*Bert on the Atari.
That's the only one I recall anyway. We had about 10 Atari games, but don't ask me what they were.
I think the first game I ever played was The Legend of Zelda.
 I remember that!Quote:
Maybe Oregan Trail...
I also remember Where in the World is Carmen SanDiego. Not sure if that came later though. I was really little :)
Super Mario World.
I'm a late bloomer.
It was either Pac Man or Pong.
Take care all.
I have no clue. It was from before I could remember. Something on the Atari 2600.
Sonic the hedgehog... or space invaders... I dunno...
Frogger.
Consoles: Super Mario Bros.
Arcade: Pac-Man
Ever: Pac-Man
I got hardcore with: Final Fantasy IX (so you can see why FF has always been special to me) before that I bought crap like Glover and X-Men: Mutant Actrocity-er I mean Academy.
I believe it was called "Tonka" on the Apple 2E. Something about a robot and mazes and junk... I also had an Atari with quite a game collection, that my grandma had the insight to get rid of when I was eight and I got an SNES for Christmas. To this day I have three SNES games in compairison to my twenty or so Atari games. :aimmad:
I never had an NES. I played Super Mario Bros, Donkey Kong, and Duck Hunt on my uncle's.
Diana Sisters on C64
Yup, that's it.
It was either Super Mario Bros. on my grandma's NES or Centipede or Frogger on my family's old Tandy.
I don't really remember....probably some Barbie dress-up game. But if not that, then Donkey Kong. Ah, the memories...
:D
Megaman X for the PC..................
Ah, good times when games were simple.
Um... that tank game for Atari. SMB was the first one I owned, though.

Space Invaders on one of them really old Apple computers, where you had them huge floppy discs and the green text.
something on the regular nintendo, i know that. might've been Dragon Warrior or Legend of Zelda, or maybe even Excite Bike. haha can't say for sure, but i know it wasn't that Carmen SanDiego for nintendo game, i couldnt read so that game was no good to me.
Creatures on the Amiga... I think.
It was either Pong or Frogger. It was way back before I even heard of the Nintendo Entertainment System, and I played them on my Aunt's old Atari. I was born in the same year that the NES came to be, but I never actually got one (or even knew about it) until 1989.
Now, why can I remember that, but I can't remember the important things, like my grandparents birthdays (or my own father's, for that matter) and things I supposedly learned in Social Studies classes?
Crash Bandicoot 3!!!!
Super Mario Brothers.
mortal kombat on the sega megadrive. Ahhh now that was a game.
Dig Dug or Pacman, I think.
A Sega Mega Drive game with a helicopter when I was 5 ish
I can't quite remember for sure, but either something for the Atari (my grandparents had one and had an entire BOX of games), or the IntelliVision. I can remember on the Atari playing mostly Star Wars, Pong, Frogger, that bowling game they had, and...I can't remember the names of the other two I most often played...one was Keystone something, and the other one took place in a jungle and you had to swing on vines over quicksand and such o.O
On IntelliVision I remember playing some vampire game a lot.
Also, Loom and Monkey Island for the Amiga.
[q=MoonsEcho]the other one took place in a jungle and you had to swing on vines over quicksand and such o.O[/q]
Would you be talking about Pitfall there? Great game.
Yes! That'd be the one ;) Ahh, the memories...Quote:

Buggy Boy for the Atari ST.
'Twas excellent in its day.
Dragon's Lair for the Commodore 64.
I think it might have been Chrono Trigger, but I'm not sure.....
Man some of you kids are young.
Probably pong, unless there were older games available on computers from 1983-1985. My first experience with a computer is this black and white photo capture dealy. There's an ARCHAIC framed picture of me at the age of <2 with my dad. It's printed in that marvellous old school printer too.
Dot Matrix printers were awesome. I made about $20 a day making fake IDs for people in high school with one of those and a small laminating machine.
My first video game... Well, I beat the original D&D on intermediate mode (Intellivision) when I was about 4 or 5. Never played it on hard after that, the dragon scared the crap outta me. I remember playing Astroblast some time before that... or rather, letting my dad play up to 99 lives or something and then letting me kill them all :P
Edit: Wait a sec, there was no easy or intermediate or hard... There were different coloured mountains. You could get the boat in the blue mountain (easy) or the axe in the red one (harder)... Bah, I was still frightened by the dragon.
Duck Hunt.Quote:

Now I remember it was LHX Attack Chopper
My dad went out and bought a Nintendo when I was 5. He played Legend of Zelda nonstop for months on end. Then when he finally beat it I got to play. I have no idea why I never played it while he was at work though. I still have it! ...and the nintendo. They work perfectly. I've mastered Zelda so well that I can beat it in 45 minutes.Quote:
The Legand of Zelda.
Stuntcar Racing or The Secret of Monkey Island in the Amiga 500. Good times..
It was probably Mario Bros on the Atari.
chaos: Super Mario RPG- Legend of the Seven Stars
Rubedo: We were never interested in gaming before that one :D
Mist or Oregon Trail. I never had a gaming system until my brother got a PS2 for his birthday in March. My parents thought that they were evil or something. It wasn't fair.
Super Mario Bros.
I'm pretty sure it was River Raid, in the very old Atari 2600.
Duck Hunt and Fester's Quest for the NES .. ya not like I had much taste for videogames at age 5 anyway
i loved myst, and i hated oregon trail
my first games were the kingdom quest series, where you had use the keyboard to actually type in exactly what you wanted to do..anyone else ever play those?
Alex the Kidd for the Master System. Now THAT was a game. :D
it was either that or some 52 games in one thing im not specifically sure of the title of the actual game thoughQuote:

And when i was 4 at my cousins place, on their old computer. Pacman and Golf :D
Link or Street Fighters 2 :D
PC: Alphabet Zoo on our 1982 IBM PCjr.
Console: Tank for Atari 2600.
Kickin' it old school.
The first game i played was pacman on the atari. And i still have my atari!
The first game I played was called "Adventure", and it was for an Atari console that I can't remember the name of. My Dad gave it to me, and I was killing dragons for months and months afterwards. The graphics were rubbish, but the game was really addictive.
Colecovision-Donkey Kong. Classic.
Either Boulderdash or Donkey Kong on the C64.
Either that or Oregon Trail for the PC. Both around the same time.Quote:

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on the Genesis, still works today :)
I've had my NES for 17 years now and it still works today. I was playing FF 1 on it last night during 24 hour guard duty.Quote:

Let me see... Raptor... Street fighter... Big Red Racing... Pacman... Prince of Persia...
Oh!! i think tetris!!
My memories somewhat fuzzy, but I believe it might've been Sonic the Hedgehog.
The first game I can remember playing is Creatures on the Amiga, or one of those old consoles.
I remember creatures!
First game I played was Match Day 2 on my Amstrad CPC464, figures being the footie fan that I am.
Super Mario Bros. on the NES.
Some Tennis game on the Sega Master System, those were good times.
Super Mario Bros!!!!
I was playing the NES when I was four years old, so I don't remember the very first game, for sure. However, the game I have the most vivid memories of was a/the Coyote & Road Runner game for NES. I have a permanent picture of the opening screen in my head from when I was only a few years old.
It's a famous game. It was designed by Warren Robinett back in the day when games were made by one person for almost nothing. What's interesting is it's the first game to ever have an Easter Egg. Atari gave their programmers almost no freedom, so Robinett secretly hid a key somewhere in the game, which unlocked a room by the castle. Inside the room, Robinett left a message and signed his name. So far as I know, it's the birth of the video game secret.Quote:

The demo of Fifa 2000 on my own computer and some accolade games on friend's computer.
But on console, it was Super Mario All Stars :).I got it for my 5th birthday.
mario bros or duck hunt i dont remember. I use to have the little gun :)
I would watch my mom play Super Mario on the NES, anf therefor soon after that became my firts game ever. Back before games were more than a past time....
Mine was Donkey Kong Country on the SNES
apparently I used to play hunt the wompus and car wars with my dad, but I dont' remember these at all ;_;
So Super Mario Bros 3 gets it:D (well it was the first I ever beat anyways)(yay game genie)
Zelda II adventures of teh linkerz
The Lion King on Megadrive
http://www.lionking.org/games/Screen...LK/SNES/04.jpg
That was my Birthday present and I played and played it forever and forever.
EDIT: Unless, that means at home. At the arcade, I think it must have been this Superbike game. You got to sit on this bike and it moved with you, but the graphics were 2D and rather poor in todays terms.
Zombies Ate My Neighbors - Konami (Super Nintendo, heh)
Pac Man on Atari.
Hmm, it's a bit hazy, but Double Dragon in an arcade comes to mind, or Sonic 1. Both were very enjoyable experiences :)
The first game i played must have been Rockman or Tanks on my uber "Hito 8000"
I believe Frogger on the Atari was my first video game. It was so long ago though and I had several Atari games...
>>> Console: Pong, Arcade: Pac man..
Pong was the first I ever played..
Ok, it was a game where you were a kangaroo and you had on boxing gloves and you punched things and it was for the Atari. But I don't know what it is.
Arcade game was Pacman/Space Invaders. And you people who played Oregon Trail first, when did that come out? My first Oregon Trail experience was in elementary school in the early nineties.
Mine was either FF7, Herculeus or Abe's Oddesey. Abe's Oddessey was quite traumatising for me actually. I was a screamish 9 year old girl and I was always squealing like hell whenever Abe died and melted or whenever I made the bad guys explode eurgh here come the bad memories
I don't really remember, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was Mega Man III.

Hmmm. I hate to admitt it, but the first game I played was Lemmings on the PC.
Oh, I used to play Lemmings on my aunt's PC when I spent a few holidays with her! It was fun! Sadly, last time I was over there, she said it wasn't on there anymore.
My first game was Super Mario Bros. I still play it today, occasionally. I don't usually play my NES much anymore, but I have ROMs that I play on my computer.
I've had my NES since December 25, 1990.
EDIT: It was that game exept it was on the Master System. Just remembered!Quote:

My first game ever was the original Prince Of Persia on a prehistoric PC. My first console game was Cheesy on PS1. A little mouse escaping from a lab and mad scientist. Cute. I was only 6, why are you looking at me like that? My first 100 % completed game was Crash Bandicoot 3! Yeah!
the first game i played was sonic the hedgehog for the master system, ironically i always wanted my dad to help get past the crab on level 1, now i have to help him find the on switch :choc:
