I got my FF8 soundtrack from http://www.gamemusic.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/GMOStore
They are a really reputable source, and your meathods for paying are great if you're new to buying things online (i.e. you can print out a form and send in a check rather than using PayPal or a credit card).
I get all my FF soundtracks from there, and it rocks. :)
Here's their FF8 page: http://www.gamemusic.com/cgi-bin/Web...=10009&did=101
I think I just want to download it so.......... where do I go?Quote:

I still think its cooler to buy it though - supporting fellow artists and whatnot. Eh. :rolleyes2
I've had bad luck with the downloads here, so...
i've been caught stealing; once, when I was five
you'll need to register though.
You can download the entire soundtrack here:
http://www.ffshrine.org/ff8/ff8_midi.php
And instead of downloading one song at a time, you can
download an entire disc by the 'click of your mouse'.
- Enjoy!
Edit: and you don't have to register or anything! free of charge.
I checked there and I can't play it I want the album that plays on windows media player so where do I get it? :cry:Quote:

Guys I need windows media player ones okay.
No one's going to distribute the ost in wma. The mp3s will work fine in windows media player, but you'd be better off getting WinAMP or something.
MP3's play in Windows Media Player. If they don't then you have an extremely old version, so upgrade it or just get WinAMP. Anyways don't get what Chris said, they are just midi's and sound horrible. Go to BlueLaguna or something to get the MP3's.Quote:

I got mine on ebay for a reasonable price.
Kathryn. Unless you buy it, you are NOT going to find anything better than MP3s. Most recent cd burning programs will convert MP3 to WAV automatically, and if yours doesn't you can download a program to do it. Using such a program is probably outside of your ability, however. And no, no one is going to send you the WAV files - they'd be about 2.5 gigabytes.
And like I said, Windows Media Player CAN PLAY THOSE MP3s.
I'd get them at that bluelaguna place, because signing up for FFH might be a hassle and FFDownloads, that is to say, EoFF's downloads suck. It's missing the first song right off the bat, so I have to wonder what else is missing.
If you're going to be that picky, just save up some cash and BUY the stupid thing. Like Del said, you could probably even find a pretty cheap one on eBay, maybe even a seond hand one for even less. Not everything in life is free. Sheesh.
guys,I don't have a credit card and to top it all off I'm only 11 years old. :( :( :( :( :(
As doomgaze said, download the mp3's and then use windows media player to burn them on a cd.
Ask your parents for it for Christmas!
Excellent idea! :D
asking parents is a good way to get the cds which are great and I bet this one is no exception. Since I don't have this particular one I would like to know what the name of the song that is on the very first part of the game is. The one that is played during the "movie". Thanks.
I GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yippe!!!!!!!!!!! my mum went out and bought it for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yippe!!!!!!!!!!! and I just got my computer exam results back I got 70 out of 100 (thank god) :D :D :D :D
Liberi Fatali.
...You can pass a computer exam but can't figure out to play an MP3? They REALLY need to make those classes harder.
DOOMGAZE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I KNOW HOW TO PLAY AN MP3!!!!!!!!!!    :mad:Quote:
