Im a opposer of Bush, who heard about this website called http://sorryeverybody.com/
Where the Americans who wanted change apologize to the world, for the 59,000,000 Americans who wanted more of the same, by making a picture with an apology and sending it in to be posted in the gallery. Please dont send hate mail i dont go to Bush sites and send hate mail.
So anyways what do u guys think of this idea?

Politics blows, full stop, and people need to stop making so much noise about it. I can see around election time, that's to be expected. But it's over now, and it's time to move on with life and stop moaning and groaning about the same old politics which will be equally foolish and nonsensical next election around.

An apology signifies acceptance. We are apologizing for the outcome... We accept the outcome. There no whining, and maybe the rest of the world will see not all of America agrees with his foregin, eviromental, economic policies etc. etc.
The site even has foreginers accepting the apologies.
As I said, I read the FAQ, and it's the same standard cloud-the-issues-with-semantics garbage that I've come to expect from any gung-ho political "visionaries," which is to say that it means precisely nothing.

You are completely right. Politics depress and anger me. Which is why I can't bring myself to venture into the World Events forum more often than not. Yet I still couldn't stop myself from going into the thread about 2008 possible candidates! ALREADY! Yeeesh.

Ok, first of all,
Citizen Bleys, Liberals won for a reason. We didn't want to go to war against Iraq or Koreo or freakin' Mars. I do agree at some standpoints what the Conservatives and the Bloc Quebecois. But all politics come down to one denomination. That is power.
Bush knows this, and he's taking advantage of it. I'm not saying he's bad for the US or good for it, all I'm saying is that he is going to exploit the oil from Iraq after this is swept under the rug... In my opinion, and the opinion of OVER HALF OF CANADA, Kerry should have won. Too bad we couldn't vote.

Canada has always been there... After Britain declared war on Germany is WW1 AND 2, Canada was right behind them... It was only when America saw it an actual threat towards themselves that they retaliated... In 1972 Canada WAS the #1 peacekeepers in the world, but unlike Bush, I pray Martin doesn't send our fathers, brothers, and sons to Iraq or Afghanistan with guns blazing. Bush is creating a new war... But I don't think its for the imaginary arms in Iraq... has anyone proven their existance yet? :mad2:

Well, from my foreginer point of view, that site can be possitive to fix the image of the USA population that has been created- at least over here- after the election. To put it clearly: A lot of Spain thinks you are all a bunch of idiots. I'm not saying I do, but from the simple-minded analysis point of view it does appear as that (Simple-minded analysis: Bush won by majority, Bush is an idiot, ergo Americans are idiots...yeah, it's really bright!). So yeah, it may not affect me at all to see US citizens saying they are sorry, but it may help with other people with a really low image of the US population.
When bush was re-elected it was a sad day for the world. I live in canada and him being president will still harm us. (Just because we have better beef, medicine, and lumber)
