Justify Yourself. Or Else.

Hi.

Consider, please, for one moment, that you're confronted by the lord of hades. After a puff of smoke and a budget-style fireworks display, the skeleton-faced corpse bandit appears and points his boney fingers at you. You hear a booming voice: "Justify yourself! Justify your existence!"

After making a note that the grim-reaper isn't the sort of guy you'd want to be messing with, you decide to clean your soiled trousers before answering him. You think long and hard about the answer, and after roughly ten minutes of trance-like activity, you speak...

So, how would you justify yourself? What makes you believe you have the right to live? Could someone else take your place and have a more fruitful and productive life?

And in order to fight fire with fire, I'll say that I'd do a Rimmer. I'd knee the Grim Reaper in the crotch and run off. "Not today matey, remember - only the good die young."

And then of course I would die.

I'm going to hell anyway. My justification would be "I'm a lazy sloth"

I can't justify my existence, since the world would get on perfectly fine without me. However, it could also do without an evil Lord of Darkness, so I'd raise that issue and cause him to disappear in a puff of logic.

Hey, I'm not the one who chose to exist! Why should I justify myself?

I would say that I am young, I never hurt anyone, I will try to do my best in this world and I will NOT die a virgin.

Hmm I would possibly say something along the lines of:

Hey I have a big bottle of Jack Daniels here fancy a drinking game.

The outcome would either be Death becomes my greatest friend or I would die a very happy man though it could be improved on by having neko girls

I have no purpose. I have yet to find out why I'm here. My purpose is to find purpose.

I've lived my life the best I could so far, and hopefully have accomplished some good, but there will be many others far greater than me who will do even more, so if it must be done, then I go willingly so long as no one else is harmed.

Supposing I where to Justify what I do I would have to take into consideration what it is that serves the purpose for fulfilling my desires and those I have sworn feilty to.
In lamans terms, "Ya just don't ask these thing when confronted with the RAZ-Man".......No seriously, to justify myself is to question ones own existence, which I guess is the purpose of this little, philosophic thread.

Well, since the only way it would be fair was if I judged myself, I'd be fine. Or not, considering Rimmer and Cat passed, but Lister and Kryten couldn't.

"My existance has helped others through many through a great deal of hardship. Also, I have been a strong figure for a family, and a great friend. If that counts for nothing, I don't know what does."
