Roy's death at the end of Blade Runner.
Not sure why, but reading this title, I thought you meant "best death metal music scene". Sigh, and I got my hopes up.
Ramirez's death scene in Highlander was pretty good. It was so dramatic, with the lightning and the head rolling down the collapsed stairway. It also reinforced your hate for the Kurgan.
I can't remember too well, but didn't that Russian guy from Rocky 4 also kill Rocky's trainer? I thought that was a pretty good death scene too.
Jesus Christ - Passion of the Christ.
Two Death Sequences, Though They Involve More Than Just One Person's Demise:
1. Opening Sequence of "Saving Private Ryan"
2. Ending Sequence of "Dr. Strangelove"
And how could we forget:
The death of Bambi's mother?
Take care all.
the death scenes of Sugimura and Tsigusa's in "Battle Royale" were so touching..
The opening of the ark in Raiders of the Lost Ark, face-meltingly good, naziriffic death scene.
Danny in American History X... *CRIES!!!!!*
Kamui's best friend in X.
O-Ren's parents.
I dunno, Optimus Prime dying in Transformers:The Movie was pretty tear jerking...
It may not be better than Sonny, but what about Tony Montana in Scarface?
"You think you can take me? You need a    :love:ing army if you gonna take me!"
I enjoyed (in an artistic sense) that death more than Sonny's actually.
Way to spoil the ending, FM. :(Quote:

Jack's death from "Titanic"..
Second best! I almost added a footnote to my first post saying that this answer was just as acceptable.Quote:

actually some of the coolest death scenes ever are in a horrible B movie called Cube - it's about some people who get trapped inside a giant cube and have to escape.
Cheesy as it may sounds (And do NOT take this as support of Leo)
Mercutios death in Romeo + juliet (the new version)
I dunno, i freaking love that actor. Rasta mercutio, who woulda thunk it.
When Bruce lee kills o hara in enter the dragon. Thats great. :twak: And Haans reaction to it makes me laugh.
I gotta say I love the way Spike dies in Cowboy Bebop. It's so casual, the way I'd want to die. "Bang..."

When Cactus Sac was fighting against Sugar Bear in the movie, Big Money Hu$tla$. He was about to execute a splash on Sugar, but that Juggalo pulled a sharp piece of broken wood from his leg, and held it so Cactus Sac would land right on it, heart first. His parting words: "Steak through the heart....that's the second time....this....week...."
