I have 4009.
Won't count.
Thanks for sharing. :rolleyes2
I've got about 100 or so I think. Still prefer CD's personally. Did you hear about that girl in the states who had over 10000. When she got caught with a bunch of illegally loaded songs the record companies tried to charge her $10,000 a track.
They settled out of court for $2500 in total.
2310, of which I listen to about 100-200 often, really.
I have a friend who has 14,000+ MP3s (at least, it was 14k when he last told me...), he has several hard drives JUST for music.
On my laptop right now I have 234, but I'm constantly burning them/storing them elsewhere/deleting/downloading more.
750 odd I think, 270 in "rotation" on my Winamp.
6275 files, 27.1 gigs, these include album pictures and such too though every now and then. I'd say close to 6100.
I have a friend like that too; saves me from having to download a lot of albums 'cause I just lan with him. He keeps them on his external hardrive hooked up to his laptop.Quote:

Mostly ripped albums or indie or free stuff. Apparantly, it's 1388 (give or take), but I only listen to like four or five albums out of all of it.
12,863
That's including some doubles from "Best Of" albums. Taking up 63.2gb.
I've got around 4150. 16.3 GB. About 1250 of which are overclocked remixes, the rest of which are about 1800 random mp3s, and a bunch of whole CDs. I have about 1500 more on the hard drive in my Pentium 2 machine in the next room, but they're all from my roomate, therefore they are (mostly) crappy music and I don't count them in my total.
I have less than 70. :)
Over thousands, counting full albums.
note:i downloaded them legally so yeah!!
219 on this computer. 6,000 on other cpmputer.
1,183 audio files. But I don't use filesharing programs, and I don't download music. :P
It's impossible to download music illegally here.Quote:

Most of the latest MP3s came from vgmix.com...I wrote a PHP script that would automatically download all the MP3s from the site. (It downloaded 9GB overnight)
44 mp3s out of 633 total music files. of course, not all the non-mp3 songs are legal either. ripped from burned CDs or CDs I don't own.
You can just have the computer count for you. Highlight everything or click on properties of your folder.Quote:

Too many, according to my computer.
How many?
About 350. Maybe more with Recieved Files....
I'll give an update in a couple.
I know, but that counts everything. Not just mp3s.Quote:

I listen to my CDs.
2442 files, 9.1 GB
and pretty much all of it is ripped from CD's that I own. a few are live songs that I downloaded back when Napster was still around - I've never used anything after they shut down cuz I'm too lazy and moral.
my father has 6,000+. I have about 1300 or so.
I have 3. I just installed a new hard drive. But the most I've ever had on this computer is maybe 20. I'm not a big music guy.
2005 songs, 12.41 GB, 180 hours (aka 7.5 days aka more than a week) 50 minutes 11 seconds. Average song length 5 minutes 25 seconds (take THAT, silly 3 minute mainstream song average :p)
One thousand and eighteen. I've deleted alot.
That's not a bad deal for settling out of court as that comes out to $3-$5 a CD.Quote:

about 3-400, not much because i only have a 40 gig hard drive... tommorrow ill be dawning my new power machine with 300 gigs of space so expect that number to rise...
Hey... u guys arent with the riaa are you?
hows about zero! computer got wiped out, dont have cable so i cant be bothered to download music these days!
18. I used to have about 50, but, erm, I guess I lost some. It's harder to lose a CD.
3,909. Roughly 85-90% of that is video game music or remixes, most of my "normal" music is on cd.
2000. give or take a few.
700 legit mp3s ripped from CDs.
Then there's a bunch I downloaded.
A mere 2447 songs here.
667.
83.
61 of them legal, 22 illegal.
Why does everyone thing music = mp3? There are a lot of other audio formats out there too.
I guess I have about 13000 audio files. about 9000 is mp3, perhaps 1000 or so in vorbis, and last, but not least, 3000 chiptunes :D!
Over the last year, I've bought quite a lot of albums too, so not all of them are illegal. Also about 2000 of the mp3's are legal to copy anyway.
It's kinda hard to check, seeing as I'm not on my own computer at the moment, but I can do an estimate. The average song length is about 4 minutes, because chiptunes are normally like 30 seconds to one minute, and I have several thousands of them :p.
187.
I have a ton of burned CDs though, so I'd have WAY more if I counted those.
