I approve of eestlinc running them again.
The tradition was to have someone else do it each year, but eest did it so well that I think we can break it. If you want to run a party or be a part of one, though, don't feel like you are being forced.
running a party is a pain in the ass, though. I've done both that and running the whole election, and running it is easier and less annoying. Besides, I can still be the driving force behind a secret party.

the mystery party was my idea, but Murder did the organizing. Or something like that.
The members didn't even know who was in it. :D
The Secret Elitist Party was something I had planned on for a while, but I couldn't have done it without the help of my better half.
I'm not sure how I can top that this time around.

The things that I won last year in The Lounge, GGD and A&W. I dominated. :D I will win them again, too.
The mystery party was pretty cool.

Hey, it's February, and I'm working on this. Depending on how busy I am at work this week (and I'm almost certain to be very busy) I'll start the whole information thing this weekend. Maybe earlier this week if I have time and extra energy.
I think I'll try to make a Nazi Party anyways. If it works the same way as last year, I'm sure it won't make it to the actual voting anyways, but it might be fun.
One could also form a Baathist Party. That might be interesting.

If people still have their panties in a twist over WWII, I'm not about to put up with the whiners who would put up a stink about something that recent.
The elections is held every february in EoFF. Basically, it's like how the election would be in the US. There will be several parties created, and each party is to pick up members and have them represent as many forums as possible, then on a certain date, usually the end of Feb., we have to vote on the candidates for each forum. Usually, once after each party is decided and whatnot, they'll have some sort of debate thing, where they answer questions. It's quite fun.

What are the restrictions on who can create parties, and under what circumstances/guidelines? Can every member of the forum hypothetically create a party of which they are the only member, or does a party have to have a certain amount of members to be recognized?
