If someone, let's say someone named Psychotic, were named administrator of EoFF, would you consider the day he was adminned the greatest day of EoFF history, or a turning point for EoFF, or the downfall of EoFF?

As for me, I'd consider it a turning point. Maybe it's good, or bad, but it's a turning point for the craziest. Yes. EoFF will be more insane than it is now.

Imagine that. Psychotic an admin. I think I'll stay away from this place as far as possible. xD

Or not, because I <3 Psychotic in a non-emotional way whatsoever. :love:

it would be kinda cool, having Psy be an admin. but I think he'd take advantage of his powers a little too much. I think all people in power should EARN their way in. The staff as it is is doing a fine job right now.

I am undecided.

As much as I like Psy, and find his antics amusing, he'd be a really terrible admin (unless he sold out and became a soc, of course). With such a wacky guy in power, the place would fall apart, and while it might seem fun for a while, the novelty would quickly wear off.

Believe it or not, it's actually the admins that make spamming fun. When spam is only a small portion of forum activity, it's a nice release for certain members, which we all need now and again. However, constant spam gets dull, and quickly. The admins keep a sensible level of order, not too strict and not too lenient, that makes kidding around all the more worthwhile when it does happen. If Psy were in charge we wouldn't have that, and every day would be server-moving day. On the whole, it would be bad for EoFF. :)

I think he COULD be an effective admin if he wanted to be, but that's the main reason he'd never be admin. I don't like the idea of adminning someone provided they change into a different person.

Also: Here I was thinking this would be some sort of revolt. :( Oh well.

I'm actually gutted at how awesome our staff is, because nothing gets me going like the prospect of having someone new join the team. =x It's so FUN!

Yeah, you guys should have seen it when I used to moderate on forums that weren't anything to do with the EoFF community. I put the CKs here to shame with my "Follow the rules or else" attitude, but I didn't ban anyone really. I just made fun of them when they broke the rules and closed threads. :cool: No random spam either....it was kinda fun, being evil!

The only way EoFF would do well with me as an admin is if I acted like that, or if I acted like I do now but if it was just for one day.

As was the case with the Such a X-2 girl. It was fun at first because it had the element of danger. I completely expected it to close down by page three. As it went on the danger grew until it was gone in obscurity. There was also the threat of getting a warning and the thrill of breaking the rules that slowly faded away. I'm glad it's over now, personally. What fun is breaking the rules if noone enforces them!

Hey if I said I was going to change the guy’s name in 2004 then I have to do it! It also just amused me because it’s such an innocuous and pointless name but at the time I probably thought it was a sick burn.

I think it was a product of a bygone era of EoFF. Posting anything vaguely nudity or sexual adjacent was the ultimate sin, the most heinous crime imaginable. So “I like porn” was truly a nuclear option.

the mid 2000s was surely quite a time when it came to lame burns. i like porn, though.
