I introduced my friends to RPGs. Now I wish I hadn't for they have all embraced them and have elevated themselves to the lofty halls of super geekdom and have become supiereor in their knowledge of the magic system of blah blah.

RPGs are awesome. If your friends don't like them then I'm sure you can find people who do, like at this website. Besides, you and your friends don't have to like everything the same.
RPGs are fun in FPS. :D
